Thursday, 29 May 2014. Locks, wet, locks and wet. Monty’s double strikes again…. Earlswood to Lapworth between locks 14 and 15. 525 miles, 13 locks. We have had two days with no internet and it is not brilliant here, so this may get posted without photos - it all depends. We awoke to the sounds of a cuckoo calling and a woodpecker drumming. Later in the day we were aware of a number of peacocks screaming – not so melodious. We met this lovely female collie showing how it should be done. 65 miles, 6 locks.

Just a few bits and bobs we spied whilst exploring - Henley does not appear to suffer too often from flooding, but enough to warrant flood level markers by Hobbs of Henley's front door. Tuesday, 28 April 2015. Stoke Works to Droitwich Spa Marina. 3 miles, 9 locks. It was bright and sunny, but cold and blustery with the odd spot of rain and even a few hail stones! Not a bad day to boat and we think one of the better ones for this week, so we set off from Stoke Works to return Tentatrice to her mooring in Droitwich Spa Marina.
