The 2014 GRTTC marked the 9th successful ride as hundreds of cyclists - for the second year in a row - rode in freezing cold weather to the Capitol to show their support for better bicycling in Georgia! With the new streetcar tracks on Edgewood, this year's ride featured an alternate route downtown. Not quite as challenging as the 2013 event (no snow flurries! ABOUT THE 2016 EVENT. Greetings, Georgia cyclists and supporters of better bicycling! Please note that the Ride to the Capitol will resume in 2017 and that there is not a ride planned for 2016. The 2015 event was nearly perfect: great weather, fantastic crowd, new finish at Liberty Plaza, Governor Deal at the podium and a host of elected officials on the ride.
