Sunday, October 26, 2014. What Keeps Me Smiling. Mariah and I have been playing a lot of hide and seek lately. But she hasn't quite grasped the concept. When I start looking for her she shouts, "here I am mommy! And the majority of the time she is in the exact same place (the closet, though that is an improvement from her old hiding place: sitting in the middle of the room). When she has to look for me she shouts, "Mommy where are you? A couple weeks ago she was telling Tanner and I all about her muscles.

Sunday, May 24, 2015. As a Farmer/Rancher's daughter I really try hard to be grateful for "moisture". But these last two weeks have gotten real old. Especially with toddlers. Thankfully Mariah and Chet both have rain boots so we still get outside a lot. They are pretty soaked by the time we are done, but the smiles and long naps make it all worth it. I love when I can capture moments like these.they're rare but oh so sweet. Chet ate it that day, but it didn't seem to slow him down. I need my violin back!

Tuesday, September 23, 2014. One of the main reasons why I wanted us to be in Logan for our rotations was the proximity to Grandma and Grandpa Young. After being here for 3 months I finally got back out to the ranch. Brittany was taking her dog to Reno for a hunting competition and decided to make a weekend trip of it. Sunday, January 18, 2015. After our wonderful time in Pittsburgh we set out for the long long drive to Nevada. Mariah and Chet did really well. The one night where I accidentally booked a hotel in Rock Springs instead of Laramie they had a pretty big melt down. That day was supposed to only be a 12 hour day but because of my whoopsie it ended up being a 15 hour day. They've forgiven me.
