A place to store my thoughts until I figure out what to do with them. I met my former land lady Emilia at the phone company this week. We were both there having a nice wait in line. At least it was air conditioned inside since it was 97 degrees outside. She told me about a 5 Km race that was being run this weekend. I got the bug and had to give it a shot. I turned in a time of 30:42. I was 20th out of 25 in my category. But I was not last. I felt great all day. March 12, 2006. Leave a comment on 5 Km Race.

A place to store my thoughts until I figure out what to do with them. Digital Calendar to the Rescue. Yesterday afternoon I was sitting in my office actually getting work done. Other than having to wait through the announcements, that was probably the fastest I have ever gotten a real person when calling a bank since the scourge of the auto attendant began. October 8, 2015.

The journey to this race started a long time ago. I'd read blog accounts of others that have done similar races, like Hood to Coast, and they always sounded like a lot of good fun. I received a flyer. I immediately emailed her an offered myself to the team if they had any openings. Her initial.
