Tales from the City: For Maddie
http://talesfromthecity-fiona.blogspot.com/2008/03/for-maddie.html
Tales from the City. A true love letter can produce a transformation. In the other person, and therefore in the world. But before it produces a transformation in the. Other person, it has to produce a transformation. The time you take to write the letter may be. Your whole life.'. I misread this initially and thought it said "the time it takes to write that letter is your whole life". Imagine a life that is a contiuous love letter from your transformed heart to as many other people as it can reach!

Anu in Blogland: ESC 2007
http://anu500.blogspot.com/2007/05/esc-2007.html
My thoughts and interests. Things I've learned. Tuesday, May 15, 2007. The Eurovision Song Contest was held this year in Helsinki, and what a wonderful job we did with it! The show was brilliant, and the overall quality of songs was quite good. I'm slightly tired of it all right now, but I just want to say that I absolutely loved the winner Marija Serifovic and her song Molitva. So here it is:. There's also ESC Webradio. On the web, so you can watch the whole final, if you want to. Posted by Anu @ 02:20.

Jana's Journeys: November 2013
http://janasjourneys.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Trekking through life, one winding road a a time. Tuesday, November 05, 2013. A friend at work basically told me the project I made yesterday was not art, because it didn't express my feelings. After I restrained my inner child, I pondered what feelings art might look like. Today was a pretty bad day at work, and my mood was black. Anger in me, heartbreak in others, depression in coworkers. My feelings were not the happiest. Oh well, black feelings are probably the funnest to draw. The Importance of Lies.

Jana's Journeys: March 2013
http://janasjourneys.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Trekking through life, one winding road a a time. Thursday, March 14, 2013. Age 9 was a defining season in my life. My mom had started working, leaving me home with my father. It was a HUGE adjustment for me. I went from visiting my grandparents almost every weekend to rarely visiting, and I distinctly remember my aunt asking me if that was because I was afraid I would miss time with my mom - and answering yes. I could have died. Monday, March 11, 2013. Under the surface I feel pain. The sadness of others.

Jana's Journeys: Banned Books?
http://janasjourneys.blogspot.com/2014/10/banned-books.html
Trekking through life, one winding road a a time. Friday, October 03, 2014. I could not believe my ears as I sat in the Banned Books Week. Celebration at our campus library a few years ago. Lord of the Rings. A Wrinkle in Time. Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Books that I considered classics, books I had read as an innocent child (okay, innocent-ish. I was pretty warped, even as a youngling), had been BANNED? I was shocked and, well, a little intrigued! What other books had been banned? What a shame your...

Jana's Journeys: Always Connect
http://janasjourneys.blogspot.com/2014/10/always-connect.html
Trekking through life, one winding road a a time. Wednesday, October 01, 2014. I decided to look around on Pinterest tonight in search of some inspiration on the subject of connecting with others. This one really resonated with me, because when I look back at my life post-high school, I have a lot of regrets. and almost all of these regrets center around missed or neglected connections with others. I want to live my life differently in the future - really connecting with others. The Importance of Lies.

Anu in Blogland: July 2006
http://anu500.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
My thoughts and interests. Things I've learned. Wednesday, July 26, 2006. I've studied three years of Chinese, but I've forgotten just about everything I've learned. I never learned enough that it would've been useful for much anything, but I have a thing for languages. I think it's kind of magical that you can scribble something on a piece of paper and it actually means. Something. I never get tired of wondering that basic thing. Written words fascinate me.
