I’m here today to discuss a topic I’ve been asked quite a few times over email and comments. People are curious how I breastfeed on a vegan diet and how I keep up my milk supply. So, here are a few of my tips.:). The one time I saw my milk supply decreasing was when I wasn’t eating enough. Homeschooling | Plant Based Baby

https://plantbasedbaby.wordpress.com/2015/07/26/homeschooling

July 26, 2015. Todays post is not really food related but I’ve been asked about this topic a couple times so I figured I would do a post on it! Greysen and I have made the decision to homeschool our kids! I know, I know, but homeschool kids are weird! They won’t be socialized! They won’t be as smart! I feel that it’s extremely inappropriate to take away time from something that a child is truly thriving in. And hey, now I teach cello and music theory! Ya see what I’m saying? We want to be able to travel!

What Flynn Eats! | Plant Based Baby

https://plantbasedbaby.wordpress.com/2015/06/19/what-flynn-eats-2

June 19, 2015. Hope all is well. I’m here today to talk about my sweet little Flynn. Many of you know that Flynn has been vegan since birth. He has never had any kind of animal protein and is doing wonderfully well without it. Raising a vegan child is definitely not the norm (yet), so it has many people questioning what a toddler even eats on a plant based diet! So here we go, here is pretty much everything Flynn eats (at the moment lol)! Toppings for his oatmeal. Cashews, raisins and coconut flakes.

My transition from meat-based BBQ to plant-based BBQ. Apple Sage Seitan Fatties. June 5, 2015. June 5, 2015. I’m not a fan of fake-meat. But this is real barbecue, and it tastes great, whatever it is. Actually, it’s mostly wheat gluten, so if you avoid gluten you should avoid this as well, which is too bad because it’s really good. Cup cannellini beans (white kidney beans) from the can. 1 cup vegetable broth. 1 tbsp tomato paste. 2 tbsp soy sauce. 1 cup wheat gluten. 1 tsp granulated garlic. Gently sprin...

Adventures of a Plant-Based Girl. Veganism. Advertising. Adventure. Athens. Home to Acropolis and pita bread. August 9, 2015. August 9, 2015. Today was my first day in Athens. Second, if you count from 12 pm yesterday, which I guess I do. Okay, so second day in Athens. What’s happened so far. Off to a weird start. Checked into my hostel. Charged my dead phone and set out to find food. Found fresh orange and watermelon juice and figs (one of my absolute favorite fruits) for dirt cheap. I nearly cried.

Plant Based for Health. Cooking, eating, enjoying, living! Follow us on facebook: https:/ www.facebook.com/PlantBasedForHealth. My daughter and I first tried a version of these at our local natural grocery store at a food demo. I modified them to suit my needs and they are a favorite in our house. Messy to eat but so delicious. And it’s super quick and easy – no cooking involved! Don’t skip the peanut sauce. 2 cans chickpeas (I used unsalted), drained. 1 small red pepper, diced. 2 stalks celery, diced.
