An exercise in the macabre. We talked, and she said all the wrongs things I didn’t want to hear:. I have a present for you I said. You owe me this. She was hysteric, panicky and bloody. Why are we afraid of death? Young as I am, I never really sought to think about the reality of my own mortality. Right now my skin is still supple, with scars maybe, but youthful and full of vibrant energy. So why bother with death? All good things must come to an end. Every great beginning must have a proper ending. For without an end, there would be no point in living. If the drudgery of everyday goes on forever, what is the point of doing that anyway?
