the petersens: May 2012
http://bandbpetersen.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 28, 2012. Andrew and rachel together. Some of these pictures are a few months old. it's hard to get away with it when andrew is so little and is changing every day. Rachel loves playing with andrew, and andrew loves it even more. she likes to get right in andrew's toys with him and join along in the fun. she'll show him how to properly play with things, and she'll take his hands out of his mouth and replace it with a toy, saying, "we don't eat our hands! We often gave andrew tummy time on thi...

the petersens: legos, legos everywhere
http://bandbpetersen.blogspot.com/2014/03/legos-legos-everywhere.html
Saturday, March 1, 2014. Legos, legos everywhere. Bruce is a big lego fan. when he was younger, he had a paper route, and he spent the majority of his spending money from that on legos. he has two apple boxes and a large toolbox full of legos. when rachel was little, we bought her some lego duplos to introduce her, but bruce has just been waiting for the day that he could play legos with the kids. Rachel was so nice about sharing her brand new legos with andrew. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). We are...

http://bandbpetersen.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 19, 2014. At the beginning of fall, i started reading lessons with rachel. it felt a little early to me, but she was so curious about letters and started trying to read along with me while i read the little house. Books out loud to her, so i decided to go for it and see how it went. we used teach your child to read in 100 easy lessons. Which is what i learned with, and several of my extended family members used. i loved it. it worked so well. Here she is when we finished her lessons:.

kikster: One Day in West J
http://kikstersblog.blogspot.com/2009/06/one-day-in-west-j.html
Adventures in the Holy Land. Sunday, June 21, 2009. One Day in West J. We went and played the carillon bells at the YMCA tower before the noon hour. Afterwards, Lisa, Kristen and I went on an adventure in West Jerusalem. Lisa and Kristen got hot. Why not dunk your heads in the fountain. Lisa can't resist the water. Pretty field (aka. ugliest background ever). A very cool neighborhood. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Subscribe to the RSS feed by going to:. View my complete profile. One Day in West J.

kikster: the American Way
http://kikstersblog.blogspot.com/2009/07/american-way.html
Adventures in the Holy Land. Saturday, July 4, 2009. At branch prayer, we sang patriotic songs, and had a parade after. And by parade, i mean Mason standing on the wheelchair as Michael pushed him, throwing candy at us, with Kat banging on a trash can. i mean drum. And afterwards we sang traditional american songs, like Yankee-doodle and some country song at the top of our lungs on the balcony. Then we set off fireworks! Best 4th of July i've ever spend out of the country! View my complete profile.

kikster: Tel Aviv
http://kikstersblog.blogspot.com/2009/06/tel-aviv.html
Adventures in the Holy Land. Sunday, June 7, 2009. Tel Aviv and Jerusalem are as different as night and day. Jerusalem in very conservative; home to many orthodox religious observers. Tel Aviv on the other hand, belongs in Europe. It is right on the Mediterranean Sea. It is absolutely beautiful. The beach was also a new experience for me. I’ve never seen so many old men try to rock the speedo…. Tel Aviv is about an hour west of Jerusalem. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Adventures in the Holy Land. Monday, June 8, 2009. The tunnel goes from the Gihon Spring to the Pool of Siloam, where Jesus healed the man born blind. The tunnel was built to protect Jerusalem's water supply when Sennacherib and the Assyrians attacked. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Subscribe to the RSS feed by going to:. Jessi's Journal: February 2010
http://jessonyourface.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 11, 2010. I have sooo much catching up to do on my blog, but I couldn't help but put up this one, most important post- to let everyone know that. Ryan proposed Thursday night and I could not have been more surprised and excited. I promise the story will come soon, but 3 tests this week don't allow me to drop everything else in my life and just focus on my wedding like I wish I could. So here's a picture right after he proposed, and the rest will come soon :). April 23rd, 2010.

the petersens: coloring books all day long
http://bandbpetersen.blogspot.com/2014/05/coloring-books-all-day-long.html
Friday, May 2, 2014. Coloring books all day long. The kids have semi-recently gotten into a HUGE coloring stage. all. the. time. i feel like we'd buy the kids coloring books and notebooks for things like christmas and then they wouldn't really use them, except occasionally at church. then suddenly they went crazy with coloring. For a while, i'd come in to the kitchen and see andrew just laying around on the tile, coloring. Now it's more common for him to be at the table. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
