The place was not big, but it was full with underwater wonders and packed with information. The place was divided into several areas, namely Jungle Quest, Sea Shells, River Story, Dangerous Marine Species, Living Fossil, Shark Quest, Ocean Journey and Kampung Penyu. Conclusion: for maximum enjoyment, do come here without any expectations, and don't compare this place with Sentosa's S.E....

Saturday, June 20, 2015. Encore Trip to Malacca. Went for encore trip to Malacca, the 5 of us in a car. This time round we left home quite late at 8.30am, and again queued for a while at Tuas checkpoint. Made a lunchtime stop at Yong Peng. Fishballs and KFC chicken. Then finally reached Courtyard @ Heeren. Hotel at 2.15pm. For 2D1N trip, the highlight was of course the food and Jonker Street. Mille crepe cakes and also The Shore. Wednesday, June 10, 2015. Took a day off today to take care of something at the embassy followed by an afternoon birthday celebration. On midday, we had a few free hours and I was tempted to try the newly opened Angelina. The mall was newly renovated and it looked great. It has not reached full occupancy yet and some sections are still out of bounds. At around 12 noon, there were still quite a few empty tables. We ordered truffle ravioli and its signature dessert Le Mont Blanc.

This year I attempted to make Ferrero Rocher snowskin mooncake as suggested my sister and the taste turns out to be a wonderful and pleasant surprise. Everyone love it, especially the kids. Strong demand from the family members to make single yolk mooncake again this year. Thus, after maybe around 10 years of break, I finally made it again. Normal snowskin mooncake in my daughter favourite pink color. 2 kg of lotus paste.
