Tuesday, July 24, 2012. When life gets busy. It gets even more busy and you stop blogging! Jake-ism of the last few days, perhaps week: cranky and fussy, typical 2-year-old behavior! I think that 2-year molar, #4 is due to break skin any day now, but Im no expert! Jacob has actually shown some regression behaviors in the last week or so as well:. 2) Wanting/insisting on a bath in the baby tub after I bathe Thaine. 3) Wanting to sit in my lap and be spoon fed on occasion. Sweet things hes doing:. 4) Sayin...

Wednesday, May 9, 2012. Kids say and do the funniest things. I decided I better start writing some of these things down. On the way home from Children's Ark yesterday, I hear Jacob in the back seat saying the following, "'B', Jacob! I guess I will be returning to work on Monday after all. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). As USUAL I'M Rambling. New blog series coming. I Will Fear No Evil, For Thou Art With Me. Kayla in American Samoa. So, I um. sort of forgot I had a blog. The House on Lindsey Lane.

Saturday, June 23, 2012. Well, better late than never. This post is dedicated to Thaine Barclay! He graced this world with his presence on February 15, 2012. My labor was fast and for that, I am so thankful. I'm also worried about baby #3 (if and when that happens). Since we'll be living out in the country in Voca and working in Brady, where babies are NOT delivered at the hospital. We may have to have a home birth! As for Thaine's sleep. we've been placing him in his crib at night. He woke to ea...I'm a...

Friday, April 3, 2015. This run down of symptoms is less than comprehensive. There have been many other things that have come up in Jacob's 5 years of life that have screamed, "SENSORY! I often let good old mommy guilt get the best of me because I saw the red flags all along. I mean, I have a Master's in early childhood special ed for pete's sake! But, I have to remind myself that I made the best choices I could at the time, and the past is in the past! Now, go advocate for your kids! Open Dis A Me?

Sunday, December 8, 2013. Our Year in Review. My opening line from last year's Christmas newsletter mentions the lack of crisp, winter weather in central Texas! Now, as I sit in my recliner looking out my back door typing this post, I can see ice on the ground and snow on the rooftops. it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Lubbock! We then spent the New Year in Brady with my parents and siblings and their families. Picture to come.). We also had some naps in my arms on sick days : ). Another com...

Langdon Love: September 2011
http://kitandbri.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 27, 2011. He just laughed and said, "Why? It's fine. She's perfect and healthy, and that's all that matters! And of course, I felt horrible for practically guaranteeing my husband that he was finally going to get the son he wants so badly. I really want him to share the special bond with his son like I share with Rayleigh. It was a polarizing experience because I knew we both wanted a boy but at the same time, I was elated that Rayleigh is going to have a sister! K: Noooo. Sister!

Wednesday, December 16, 2009. 7 days, wait. months, old already! It is hard to believe how fast the time has flown by. It seems like every day, our little girl is growing, learning, and changing. She is a lot of fun to play with, and definitely has her own little personality. Here are a few recent pictures. We've also graduated to the regular sized bath tub. She loves it because she has more room to play and scoot around. We love making funny faces, and apparently, Dad is a great teacher. I always love t...

Langdon Love: Cruisin'!
http://kitandbri.blogspot.com/2011/09/cruisin.html
Friday, September 2, 2011. We loved New Orleans. What a neat place! Yes, it smelled funny. Yes, it was crowded. But wow! It was so fun too. There is so much history alive there! We all felt very safe in our hotel because there was a real life Vampire Hunter checking in behind us at our hotel. I knew immediately I was going to love New Orleans! It was plenty on a plain-jane Wednesday night. The infamous Bourbon Street! I loved all of the bands! Enjoying some time in a little outside bar on Bourbon St.

Langdon Love: Loving life!
http://kitandbri.blogspot.com/2011/10/loving-life.html
Wednesday, October 12, 2011. So, I have been a bad preggo mommy and haven't taken any belly shots yet, but I promise I will soon! I have steadily been getting bigger and bigger every week and feeling little Harper move more all the time. She has been quite the little mover and shaker lately. It's been fun! With as much as she has been moving around lately though, there have been plenty of opportunities. Makemma was working on a totem pole for a class project. She had to include each family member wit...

Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Hey Skinny Brianne - I know you're out there somewhere! I stepped on the scale and saw the following number pop up: 183.5 WHAT? Only down half a stinkin' pound? I lost a total of 4.5 inches in one week. I lost an inch at my waist, at my hips, around each thigh and .25" on each arm. Even though my weight wasn't down much, it's obvious that I am losing fat. Go ME! Hope this helps inspire you too! Tuesday, April 20, 2010. Day One of boot camp went well, but we have Day Two tomorro...
