The Walk offers participants the opportunity to observe the Port Lands'. Sights, sounds, smells and physical sensations at a leisurely pace. The five selected vantage points are found along the Martin Goodman Trail. Y. Ellow circles on the map above. Two locations are off the trail:. Northeast corner of the soccer fields near the parking entrance and playground. Directly across from the towering Hearn Generating Station. Please be sure to wear comfortable footwear, a hat, sunblock, etc. as necessary.

With guest speaker Dave Hardy wh led us on a detour through the Portlands Energy Centre's. Grounds to learn about their sustainability efforts, that include the establishment of a Carolinian forest. Sunday October 13th, 10 am. The Walks start at the southeast corner of the lower Cherry Street bridge. This bridge is the southernmost, close to Cherry Beach.

I seek out landscapes that are in limbo and immerse myself in them over extended periods of time. Close observation reveals the inter-relationships of the forces that coexist in and shape the landscape I'm investigating.
