I graduated in 1997 at the Higher Technical Learning Institute for Ceramics in Graz, Austria. I then learnt my throwing skills working alongside many potters throughout Austria, Germany and the UK. I first started working in the UK at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. My next project was with Tessa Wolfe Murray. Producing smoke-fired slap built vessels; this was followed by a year at Dartington Pottery. After that I moved to Gwili Pottery. Where from 2001 I became a partner in the business.

The grammar school I went to got a kiln and a stand up and nod kick wheel when I was 13. No looking back!
