Friday, June 30, 2006. After visiting the church we decided to go back to our room for a siesta. Cordoba was a town all about siestas because it s really hot during the middle of the day. It was the only night on the entire trip that we didn t drink a drop of alcohol. It s probably the first and the last day of sobriety. Monday, October 31, 2005. The older we get the less people are interested in holidays. I think it's fun to dress up and get into the spirit of the holidays. Today is Halloween and only two people in my office dressed up. I'm wearing a witch costume that I borrowed from my Mom. Tuesday, December 20, 2005. As I walked out to my car this morning some white stuff up in a tree by my neighbor’s front door caught my attention. I looked up and toilet paper streamers were draped over the branches 30 feet off the ground. To get the TP’er must have climbed on top of the car port to get the toilet paper that high. That was the test that I studied for like a crazy person throughout the end of September and all of October. Yesterday, I got my thin envelope in the mail congratulating me. My whole family, 18 of us, went up to my Uncle Brian's house and stuffed ourselves with the traditional cuisine and few new things like pumpkin cheesecake. Wednesday, April 19, 2006. A weekend in Jtree. That's right, I actually spent a whole weekend in Jtree. It was the first time I've camped there (while climbing) in months. This season I've taken a lot of day trips to Jtree. Taryn, Adam, and Chris and I climbed hard stuff and ate lots of good food.
