The Path to Hell: LAZARUS

http://midge-wwwpathtohell.blogspot.com/2009/03/lazarus.html

The Path to Hell. Random ramblings of on obsessive compulsive fiddler of fabric. Tuesday, March 17, 2009. My God, this poor little blog has been abandoned since last October! How disgraceful. I really MUST do better. She is 20 years younger than he and was once a very large gal who lost a whole shebang of weight (good for her! Of course, I completely resisted the urge to be at all bitchy during the whole experience. Although I do recall that every time I was walking in their view with my back to them...

Threads~n~Fiber 2: TITANIC ARTIFACT EXHIBIT

http://threadsnfiber2.blogspot.com/2008/01/titanic-artifact-exhibit.html

Monday, January 7, 2008. For our Christmas presents our son Eli bought us tickets to the Arizona Science Centers Titanic Artifact Exhibit. We spent a good part of 4 hours Christmas Eve morning touring it. If you get the chance be sure and see it! The recreation of the rooms, the sides of the ship, grand staircase and all the artifacts brought up are "chilling". Posted by Patsy Morris. January 7, 2008 at 11:32 AM. It's great to have you back in the blogosphere. I've missed you so! View my complete profile.

Wednesday, October 24, 2007. Still working away on my Filaments Class with QU and Linda. I've learned a lot with this class, as far as different threads and how to use them in my machine. Here is my second week of blocks using heavy metallic threads/fibers and of course the foils. I love the foils. Posted by Patsy Morris. Thursday, October 18, 2007. I've been tagged by Judy. Threads~n~Fiber 2: Portraits in Fabric

http://threadsnfiber2.blogspot.com/2008/02/portraits-in-fabric.html

Wednesday, February 6, 2008. I'm taking a class online at Quilt University with teacher Marilyn Belford award winning artists of Portrait Quilts using her special techniques. http:/ www.marilynbelford.com/. This is my maternal Grandmother. The first week was spent drawing out her facial features. Second week was spent cutting and piecing fabrics to the line drawing. Work is progressing and what a journey this has been! Next week we will be fusing all pieces and then free motion thread painting. Yikes!

Threads~n~Fiber 2: September 2007

http://threadsnfiber2.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html

Saturday, September 22, 2007. This is a button PC I made for a swap I am in. It's a one to one embellishment swap. I used waste threads from my serger which I punched into some orange hand dyed wool. This is a challenge I finished for Textile Design group. A handbag made out of fiber fusion. I had been saving this piece for a couple of years now. Just couldn't cut it up, but now that I have I still have some left over to make a Padfolio or use as embellishments on a tote bag. Posted by Patsy Morris.

Tuesday, March 27, 2007. Here is a postcard using plantfiber fusion. Bits of yarns, glitter and anything else that might add texture to the fiber have been added. The fibers come in many different colors, including white so you can dye your own specific colors. More fiber fusion using tye dyed cheesecloth which I fuse to wrinkled up tissue paper and attached to the plant fiber fusion by sewing the two together making a postcard. Posted by Patsy Morris. The Path to Hell. Random ramblings of on obsessive compulsive fiddler of fabric. Tuesday, September 30, 2008. A FAIRY TALE (WITH A COUPLE OF MYTHS THROWN IN). The woman bought a fully computerised version of OF which automatically cut her threads, calculated her button holes, had thousands of embroidery patterns and a memory to record them, could work three different alphabets, needled up and down and basically could almost cook dinner, feed the dog and clean the house. Practically Crazy | Am I crazy or just practical?

October 20, 2011 · 2:07 pm. I have very fond memories of trick or treating when I was a kid. Remember when people gave out homemade treats? Several years back, Brian worked with a lady that would bring popcorn balls in for everyone, around this time of year. Brian is a smart guy, he liked them so much that he asked her for the recipe. She jotted it down on a small scrap of paper and that is what I use every year to make these yummy treats. 2/3 cup light corn syrup. It needs to continue to cook at the sof...

Sharing the love of eating magnificently every day, sometimes in my lovely kitchen and sometimes finding the great things London offers. Mostly savoury - I'm no cakey pig! Friday, March 10, 2017. Bitterness is viewed harshly in this overly sweet world. To be bitter is to be consumed with an intense animosity, lashed by the rawness of winter winds, suffering the distress of a galling shame. Yet bitter enemies, bitter rancor, bitter hatred create all the finest elements of great art, surely? Makes about 5 ...
