I recently had my 16X20 oil painting of Mary and Jesus (called "Hope of Israel") framed in preparation for the Springville Museum of Art's Spiritual and Religious show. Yeah! Cross your fingers. I am submitting this and the painting I completed earlier this year called "Dear to the Heart of the Shepherd" which is a painting of the Savior and a lost sheep, just found. It is a juried show. Monday, December 19, 2011. Found a Model at Rumbi Grill. You guys are never going to guess what CRAZY, spontaneous thing I did at lunch today.I saw a man working at the restaurant I was at who had amazing facial features that inspired me to paint. I asked him if I could take his picture so that I could do a study. He said yes! Too funny. I gave him one of my cards with my blog address so he could see it some time. He was such a great sport.
