Laura and andres' adoption adventure. 5 August 2009 at 11:32 am Posted in Home. Another funny story… This weekend we went and picked up some stuff from the cleaners. They gave Mateo two Dum Dum lollipops. So he had one and we put the other away. I pulled it out the and gave it to him after school one day this week. A couple of licks in he tells me…It’s tasty! Check out that form! And it will keep him from depending too much on us. Spanish school starts next week! 1 Comment ». 8212; 5 August 2009 #. 6/28/...

Today is my mom (Mateo’s grandmother’s) birthday and while her present isn’t quite ready to be delivered, it is complete. The plan was to take the photos we took last weekend and turn them into a book as her gift from Mateo. So even though you have seen some of the photos already…here is what the book should look like. I think its going to look great! Hope its a great one. We love you and wish we were there! 3/07 Home...

Friday, January 16, 2009. I was going to log on last night to give you a short but funny "Angie-ism". But by the time the kids were down to sleep and I'd done a few things around the house and finally sat down, I was TIRED. So I decided to go to sleep instead.I think that was a good decision! Last night when I picked up Angie from daycare (we are just finishing the 1st week of Angie in full-time daycare. She is adjusting well but it is killing Mama! She was talking too - about school and supper and all s...

Thursday, April 23, 2009. Easter Baskets and Egg Hunts. After church we came home and the kids changed their clothes. They did mention that they must not be getting Easter baskets this year because they didn't find any on the table like they did last year before church. But while they were up changing, I brought the baskets out of hiding and as they came down the stairs they discovered their baskets and the fun things within. They were pretty excited! Dressel Familia: Halloween
http://dresselfamilia.blogspot.com/2009/11/halloween.html
Saturday, November 7, 2009. While we don't go all out in celebration of Halloween, our kids enjoy the traditional fun festivities like dressing up, trick or treating, carving pumpkins, etc. We try to steer clear of the 'horror' aspect of Halloween and opt for clean fun instead. Here is my "grand-niece" (that makes me sound old! Sporting one of two Halloween costumes.Serenity is 13 months old and looked lovely as a bumblebee! Juancho wanted to be a dog, so I bought an oversized brown turtleneck from Salva...

Tuesday, March 31, 2009. As you can see below, he feels quite comfortable being a member of our "pack" (and is less than modest.sorry! And though he is so cute - he is not immune to getting in trouble sometimes! Having 3 other pack members that are under 18, and two of those being girls, PJ has endured his fair share of being dressed-up, serving as a surrogate "baby", attempts to be ridden like a horse, and more. He has handled it with ease. Both legs gone - up to the belly button! Lean and Green Mama.

Tuesday, May 12, 2009. Near our home is a place called " Murphy's Landing. It is an 88 acre park re-created to resemble life in Minnesota between the 1840's and 1890's. Nearly all of the buildings in the park are original - homes, church, school and mercantile actually built in that time frame and moved to the park from various parts of the south metro of the Twin Cities. Costumed interpreters teach about life on the frontier, farmstead and villages. Angie says "C'mon Mom! 3 rounds.boy were they loud!
