Mop Top 3.0. Monday, November 23, 2009. And sneak peak #2! Brad and I took John John to the Shops at Legacy in Plano for a Holiday Kick-Off Festival Extravaganza. (probably not the real name! Brad wasn't too happy about celebrating Christmas before Thanksgiving was days away, but it was a nice afternoon out. The weather was gorgeous so it was great to walk John around and see the beginnings of the holiday season. Trying to take pictures by the pond. Trying out some musical instruments. I am slowly but su...

Mop Top 3.0. Sunday, April 4, 2010. Even though the weekend isn't over, it has been a great one so far. Saturday was a wonderful day hanging out at the house, doing whatever we wanted, when we wanted. No plans, nowhere to be. Awesome. Haven't had one of those days in a long time so it was perfect. I even managed to stay awake during John's nap time and get stuff done for my craft show. (I posted about it at www.lilmoptop.blogspot.com. So, what exactly did we do? John was a great helper in the kitchen!

Mop Top 3.0. Monday, August 31, 2009. It's Been A While. Going back to work really cramps by blogging-style! School started last week so Brad and I took John out with us to our traditional 'Back to School Dinner' on Sunday, Aug 23. (Like the title says, it's been a while! We went to Chili's and had some yummy comfort food. But we did buy him a walker toy that he loves. He is so cute with it! Saturday was my birthday so Brad and John took me to IHOP for breakfast, which was wonderful! Nothing super exciti...

Monday, August 24, 2009. What a productive day it has been! I have spent most of the day adding to and completing items off of my new TO DO list. With this new direction I have it has made my day much more focused and as a result I have been. More productive than days past. I am happy to report that I completed the item at the top of my to-do list today: Make a cleaning schedule. What a task, first I had to analyze. My needs around the house and then determine when and how often. O Dust ceiling fans.

http://moptop30.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Mop Top 3.0. Monday, July 20, 2009. We are home safe and sound from our {short} trip to Lubbock! Brad and I packed up everything but the kitchen sink and took John to visit Great-Grandma Brown in Lubbock. We left Sunday morning and came back Monday afternoon. Short and sweet! John was such a good baby on the plane! While waiting for our plane today to return to Dallas, John played with a fun over-sized chess set. How cute is that? Posted by Jen @ lil Mop Top. Thursday, July 9, 2009. Then you are in luck!

Friday, July 10, 2009. For purely selfish reasons, mostly so I can have a record of my remembering, I want to take the time to remember some of what we have been through the past five years. July 10, 2004. I married the love of my life! Jen got her teaching job in Coppell. We bought our first house. Our first Christmas as a married couple and Chris gave me my precious Annabelle. The complexities of our simple life. The month of September was spent establishing our new schedule with Hannah in school and Momma being out of therapy. (I got out of therapy 3 days before school started) It was rough on all of us for a few weeks, everyone was tired and a little uneasy for a while, but after settling in to the new schedule things have been wonderful! A few weeks ago we took out first family of 5 stay-cation to lovely Fort Worth, TX! We spent our first day at the FW Zoo. Hannah loved...

The complexities of our simple life. First our new addition was a must for the family photo. We could not have done it without our little Jacob. Of course, when life is rattled in one part of the family, the entire family feels it. We know that life is precious and when I almost lost mine, it was a motivation to celebrate each other more and more every day! Mema, Papa, and the kids. Posted under 101 list. Email will not be published. 10:15 am, January 5, 2012. Parade of Homes 2011. 5:13 pm, July 12, 2011.

Sunday, March 29, 2009. The kids get fed and go to play and Chris and I take over the kitchen, making the biggest mess you have ever seen. Our menus over the years have included: grilled tuna, various steak dinners, adobo pork, homemade salad dressings, roast beef, acorn squash and tonight we add Tomatillo Enchiladas with spinach, onion, and chicken filling. DELICIOUS! My tummy is full but my taste buds are looking forward to our next Sunday evening adventure. Wednesday, March 25, 2009. I don't know abou...
