Handmade life, homespun love, and pretty things. House tour: the kitchen. I've shown you my bedroom. We have a little nook with our dining table just outside the kitchen door, so I consider the entryway - with these beautiful dictionary prints I bought off etsy - a part of the kitchen. Our limited space means we had to choose our appliances sparingly. Instead of trying to fit a microwave and a toaster, we compromised with a toaster oven. So far, it's worked pretty well, but there are definitely t...I thi...

Sunday, September 30, 2012. Petit four-ever: Our Night Comes To An End. The end of the night came too quickly. Everyone was having such an amazing time it seems like it just flew by. I consciously made the effort several times to stop and take it all in.but it still went too fast! Our getaway car was getting it' s final touches. And it was time to make our exit. What kind of getaway car did you have? Petit Four-ever: We Danced With Our Parents. Petit Four-ever: We Danced. Petit Four-ever: Pre-Wedding Fun.

Married Away in Mexico: Petit Four-ever: We Partied aka: The Dance-off
http://marriedawayinmexico.blogspot.com/2012/09/petit-four-ever-we-partied-aka-dance-off.html
Friday, September 21, 2012. Petit Four-ever: We Partied aka: The Dance-off. After a couple of songs, I decided it was time to change into my reception dress. I LOVED my wedding dress, but it felt amazing to be able to move and dance freely. I bought this dress online and it was a huge gamble that turned out in my favor. We literally had EVERYONE on the dance floor! Everyone had a great time. A special moment with my mom and dad. Yup, there was a dance-off. Petit Four-ever: We Danced With Our Parents.

Friday, July 20, 2012. Petit Four-ever: Ceremony Details. As y'all know, some things didn't go exactly right during the set up of our reception, but everything turned out alright in the end. Here are some of our details that I loved so much. All photos courtesy of Kate Bahnsen Photography. Mr and Mrs. forks from SimplySweet. Our 'Thank You" banner from AtcompanyB. Our centerpieces were my favorite part of our table settings and of course, there are no pictures of it! Petit Four-ever: The Girls Get Ready.

Mr PF and I wanted to take advantage of our gorgeous surroundings so we booked a "Rock The Frock" shoot with our photographer the day after our wedding. Kate (our photog) was so awesome. She took so much time with us to get as many amazing pictures as we wanted. We found some awesomely colorful buildings to take pictures with. And found these guys!

Married Away in Mexico: November 2011
http://marriedawayinmexico.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 28, 2011. Let them eat cake? As I told yall before. Mr PF has celiac disease, so that means no cake. Picture via Gluten-Free Foodie. I thought about buying gluten-free cake mix and taking it with us to Mexico and then just making a small cake for us to cut and eat. I feel like that might be more trouble than its worth and honestly, I haven't tried any G-free cakes I actually liked. We are serving dessert but one is a banana whipped dessert and the other is tres leches cheesecake. Let me ...

Thursday, April 19, 2012. Petit Four-ever: The Pre-Wedding Fun. We got to the island 4 days before the actual wedding so we did have a few spare minutes to hang out with our friends and get a much needed tan :). We found some beach. Ate some delicious food. Drove around and saw the sights. Found some more beach. Made friends with some iguanas. And definitely acted silly. We even found this little guy just hanging out in a tree! He was so gorgeous!
