What's New with You? Friday, February 19, 2010. We found out the day before the surgery that he was the oldest kid scheduled for surgery that day and he was going to be last! How in the world are you supposed to keep a 4 year old from eating and drinking all day? We arrived at the hospital at 1:00pm tired and hungry. Luckily for us Jack didn't complain one bit about not being able to eat or drink anything. We kept him busy with the fish tank in the waiting room and our wonderful DVD player. The surgery w...

What's New with You? Thursday, September 9, 2010. Jack is officially a Kindergartner! Here are some pics to document the big day. On Monday night before school started Jack got to pick where we would have dinner and he picked Brick Oven. I had to laugh because we had only been there once or twice but I guess it stuck with him. We had a lot of fun and of course the food was delicious! Here is Jack getting his school hair cut. He used to be terrible when getting his hair cut but now handles it with ease.

Life As a Resident Wife: November 2014
http://justinandjuliesacks.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Life As a Resident Wife. And every thing else in between. Thursday, November 27, 2014. It's been on my mind a lot these last few weeks in preparation for Thanksgiving as to what I am grateful for. In a talk that was given in church last Sunday a girl asked, "If you were only given what your thanked Heavenly Father for in your prayers last night, what would you have? I am SO happy I have 4 healthy boys. Health seems to be taken for granted so much these days and I am so happy we are healthy! I'm grateful ...

Life As a Resident Wife. And every thing else in between. Friday, September 20, 2013. More Utah Fun-picture over load. While we were in Utah, we stayed with my parents in Springville. Since we have been gone, they built a super cute splash pad that we made some visits to. I think splash pads were invented by a total genius. Some of the many faces of Carter. Carter loved the statues. maybe a little too much. Cousin Max came along too! Such a cute baby! And the kids loved the kid area in the food court.

Life As a Resident Wife: Ryland Turns One!

Life As a Resident Wife. And every thing else in between. Monday, August 3, 2015. Ryland is also the biggest scaredy cat. He is scared of my kitchen timer for crying out loud! Checking out his surroundings. Ooooohhhhhhhh. That's the noise coming from his mouth at that moment. Notice how he is just sitting on his rear. Both feet are in the air. No, the frosting is not in his eye, but right on his lashes. Here is a good example of the scream and the scardey catness. Posted by Julie Sacks. Oh that poor baby!

Later Slater: Happy Halloween
http://candaceandryan.blogspot.com/2010/11/happy-halloween.html
What's New with You? Monday, November 1, 2010. The kiddos had opinions on this one. Finding a penguin costume turned out to be nearly impossible and Jack didn't want to be anything else. What is a mom to do? Yeah right I don't sew! Luckily I have a good friend who would help me and my mom saved me. With a lot of help and encouragement I actually made Jack a penguin costume. For my first project I think it turned out pretty cute. One of my favorite is Laney. She was a cute and cuddly peacock! On Saturday ...

Life As a Resident Wife. And every thing else in between. Wednesday, April 15, 2015. Kindergarten Hoe Down.and other random tid-bits. Last night was Jace's Kindergarten Hoe Down. It was so super cute to watch him do little group dances and how often he was checking to make sure I was watching him. Jace loves his teacher, Mrs. Burke, and he loves school. Although every morning he tells me he hates it, but that's just until I can get him woken up enough to not be a grump about the world. Ryland's really be...

Later Slater: December 2009

What's New with You? Monday, December 14, 2009. I just wanted to post some of my favorite pictures of Macie that show what a fun personality she has. She is such a fun and happy little girl. Her vocabulary increases every day and she is our personal tape recorder- she will repeat just about anything that we say. She has become a little poser. Anytime she sees a camera this is what we get. She is becoming a daddy's girl more and more each day and Ryan loves it! Posted by Ryan, Candace, Jack and Macie.
