When the Museum of Natural Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point was slammed beyond reason, we headed to Hogle Zoo instead. Clever Auntie Em found buy-one-adult-get-one-kid-free coupons at Les Schwab. The zoo was a good choice. It was a fun day. Picnic first at Rotary Glen Park just east of the zoo. LT, HD, and FE. The Dude with Auntie Em.

The cousins gathered before the adventures of the day. Kris ascending the most beautifully engineered stairs I've ever used. The Getty entry rotunda. Richard Meier designed the Getty. Getty loved France and collected French rooms and furnishings. This quirky Baroque Boulle cabinet is a favorite. A fine rococo room.

Connor is starting classes at BYU today and Matt and Kim came up from Mesa, where they spent the holidays, to get him settled. The Happiness Hotel was full, so Stephen and Ann were kind enough to let them use their guest room for one night. Last night they stayed with us. It was great to see them if only for a short time. David and Kris's Blog. An exciting new adventure for two computer-challenged fogeys. Saturday, December 20, 2014. At Pioneer Memorial Theatre. We had a great evening. Most recently, we attended the Wasatch School Christmas program. Ollie played with the band and Lizzie sang with the choir. This is always a holiday highlight. Instead of cooking, this year, the Christmas Group met at Communal for a delicious dinner. The tree is up. Dinner in the compound. Uncle looks like Father Christmas. Meg at the pulpit.

The usual round of walks and dinners was made more than exciting by the Hansen and Sophie Ringer wedding and by the birth of lucky #13 grandchild. The Fossums home teach Stephen and Ann, Kris and Ann visiting. Teach Pam, so dinner out was a great way to kill. Several birds with one stone. The best part of IKEA shopping is lunch. Sunrise over Squaw Peak.
