Three Little Knitted Frogs: A Sun Hat
http://treefrogknits.blogspot.com/2010/04/sun-hat.html
Thursday, April 29, 2010. This hat was whipped up in one night when I needed something a bit more picture worthy for a trip to the zoo. My son’s head was small and I had nothing to fit him or protect him from the bright sun. Plus, I always have the need to put the poor kid in something handmade. This pattern was not tested. You need to be able to:. Knit in the round. Use double pointed needles. Perform a three needle bind-off. Knit an icord/crochet chain. Repeat until end/change in pattern. Worsted weigh...

Three Little Knitted Frogs: August 2014
http://treefrogknits.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 26, 2014. We've had a beautiful, full first summer here filled with lots of garden time (LOTS), flowers, fields, balls, chickens, family, and just freedom. As we get ourselves back into the routine of early mornings, catching the bus, and homework, we look forward to the next season to come. Wool is once again on the needles and always on the brain. Spinning class happens soon.and maybe, just maybe, so do those sheep and feeder calves, meat birds, and. Links to this post. With another wee...

Three Little Knitted Frogs: On the needles
http://treefrogknits.blogspot.com/2014/01/on-needles.html
Wednesday, January 22, 2014. My knitting stride is just about back. Between moving, Christmas makings, and the puppy (oh and those kids), I've not had a lot of time to knit. I think I'm finally under control enough to start back at my. Hobby again. Good thing too since I need to finish my kids' solstice/winter/Christmas sweaters. I've forgotten that as they get bigger, their sweaters take longer. All three are getting Tea with Jam and Bread. Linking up with Ginny at Small Things. Now I know what the swea...

Three Little Knitted Frogs: October 2013
http://treefrogknits.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 22, 2013. Wash, rinse, repeat. Having three boys seems to cause a duplication in days. I never knew I would be an expert farm builder. I can put together a homestead in a matter of minutes. Boy #1 was always concerned with feeding the animals. Boy #2 was always concerned with babies being by their mommies. Boy #3 is concerned with moving manure to various "piles". Same toys. Same clothes. Same scenes. Totally different boys. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Our little farm...

Three Little Knitted Frogs: Weekend Warriors
http://treefrogknits.blogspot.com/2014/01/weekend-warriors.html
Monday, January 20, 2014. The last two weekends we've been able to ink out some good ol' farm working time. Each have given us one day of temperature that was not at that "my teeth are cold" cold. The Chicken Fortress layout has finally been decided - a 12x16 house for 20 hens. I'm tickled pink that there will be a green house as part of it. A Green House. I swoon. The mud. This makes for some really cold mama fingers since I have to prewash this stuff in the snow and water. Outside. Burr. Little by litt...
