http://rachel-mystitchingdiary.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Monday, 31 December 2012. Am not sure if I achieved what I set out to do this year, I had planned to finish some of the numerous quilts that I had started but never finished - well I definately didnt finish all of them [I dont think that will ever happen], but I finished both my sampler and random quilts and gave them away as gifts. I havent started many other projects [well, not too many]. I would like to wish everyone a healthy and happy 2013.. Sunday, 30 December 2012. Quilting Secrets Blog Hop.

My Stitching Diary: July 2013
http://rachel-mystitchingdiary.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Friday, 5 July 2013. In January 2012 I decided that it was about time I finished off some of the many UFO's that I have acquired [obviously through no fault of my own]. I have now finished the Leanne Beasley. Block of the month called Leanne's House. I really wasn't sure what colour to do it in so initially I used a jelly roll that I had bought many moons ago. I think the middle block is my favourite . I really enjoyed making this little wall hanging and I have always wanted to make a mystery quilt.

Friday, 9 August 2013. Heart of the Home. And another one, I have still been working on all my unfinished projects and I think there may be some light at the end of the tunnel! My problem is, I enjoy making the blocks but just never put them together and finish them off, but, this one is now finished and I am planning on putting this one on our bed [and not in the bottom of the wardrobe where everything else seems to go]. This picture is of a close up of the middle block which is probably my favourite!

My Stitching Diary: September 2012

Friday, 21 September 2012. With a little help from my friend! Took me twice as long as what it should have done tonight to layer this quilt up, due to the fact that my little friend really thought she was helping! Wednesday, 19 September 2012. My lovely daughter Abigail may have caught the patchwork and stitchery bug! Initially, she was going to make a sampler quilt but like me, she likes the quilt with stitchery blocks in them and this one by Anne Downs ticks all the boxes! Thursday, 13 September 2012.

Wednesday, 19 June 2013. Baltimore Quilt [part 2]. I went to the next session for the Baltimore quilt last week, and have now done the next 4 blocks - I am really enjoying it and the blocks are coming together really well. Again, for some reason I have lost the ability to rotate the pictures - so you will have to look at them with your head on one side! Well, us sewing ladies do do very strange things for our craft! Wednesday, 6 November 2013. Great Northern Quilt Show. Our quilt group - Pizzazz Patchers entered a quilt for the Great Northern Quilt Show in August at the Harrogate Show Ground and we won first prize! I have been meaning to post a picture of 'Yorkshire Slice' since then sharing this fab news but unfortunately I didn't get around to it. Last week, Christine and Sylvia made arrangements to display the quilt in Keighley Shopping Centre and these are the photos of it. Sunday, 3 November 2013. At Oswaldtwis...

Tuesday, 15 January 2013. A Simple Life - Anni Downs. Abigail has been busy working on the stitchery blocks for the Anni Downs quilt - A Simple Life. These are the completed blocks so far. As you can see the blocks are lovely, some of the shapes are really time that need are appliqued. I will show you the next few blocks when she has done them, I dont think it will take her long at this rate! Monday, 7 January 2013. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Mystery Quilt, Lynette Anderson.
