QUILTING AT THE COTTAGE: NINE PATCH QUILT VARIATIONS, AND WHY I LOVE THEM
http://quiltingforfunandmorefun.blogspot.com/2013/08/nine-patch-quilt-variations-and-why-i.html
QUILTING AT THE COTTAGE. A little blog about quilting and other things at the cottage. Friday, August 2, 2013. NINE PATCH QUILT VARIATIONS, AND WHY I LOVE THEM. I know I used to say, no more. Nine patch quilts for me, but that. Was before I discovered cutting them up and making new blocks. The next one is cut on the diagonal which. I made using lots of white in the blocks,. So it looks so different doesn't it? I have a third one on the go with totally different looking results which I shall post next week.

QUILTING AT THE COTTAGE. A little blog about quilting and other things at the cottage. Thursday, April 10, 2014. THE DAYS DWINDLE DOWN. A PRECIOUS FEW. When we left the cottage, we brought my sewing machine, table and a suitcase full of general quilting supplies. I forgot my free motion foot. Now, that limited me to just doing straight walking foot quilting which is not what I like to do. I did make two baby quilts for two baby boys born to staff here at our little Villas resort. Everyone loves homemade ...

QUILTING AT THE COTTAGE. A little blog about quilting and other things at the cottage. Wednesday, October 16, 2013. THOUGHTS FROM THE COTTAGE. So, look at the hanging basket. Unbelievable for this time of year at our cottage. We have not had a frost and I am still watering these beauties! This morning I saw the first junko bird. That means it will get colder. They are winter birds and the first has arrived. I am still without socks at the cottage. That tells you something about the weather at the lake.

Bonnie's Bits & Pieces: October 2010
http://bonniebitspieces.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Bonnies Bits and Pieces. Tuesday, October 19, 2010. This wall hanging wasn't a UFO for long. I made it this summer. I know alot of people don't care as much for the computer LAs but when I saw this done at a LQS I could not resist it. The back is just as cute as the front. I have already given this to my DIL. They love Halloween. Today we saw some dolphins playing in the ocean. We also saw a sea gull eating a little fish. He was only about 10 feet from us. He sure had to swallow alot. Just a Little Zizzy.

All Things Crafty: Encore Post - Valentines Day Card with Embroidery
http://www.allthingscrafty.com/2015/02/encore-post-valentines-day-card-with.html
Monday, February 9, 2015. Encore Post - Valentines Day Card with Embroidery. I love combining crafts to create items. This time it's embroidery and cardmaking. I searched for the perfect heart pattern and found this heart at abc embroidery designs. I knew this was going to be on my card the moment I saw it. I then cut it out in a square size a smidgen smaller than my cardstock. Placed double-sided tape on the back and placed it on the top section of my card. Hope you enjoy your valentines day!
All Things Crafty: Post 4th of July Flag Finish
http://www.allthingscrafty.com/2014/07/post-4th-of-july-flag-finish.html
Monday, July 7, 2014. Post 4th of July Flag Finish. I displayed my non-binded flag for the 4th of July and now I'm determined to finish binding the flag for future use. There were several options I could have gone with. A solid color, cutting the top and bottom straight, etc. I decided to piece the binding from some leftover tumbler blocks I had to match the colors of the flag edges. Thanks for stopping by! Sunday, July 27, 2014. Christmas in July - Returning to Moda Flurry Quilt by Kate Spain. I was thinking that my next project would be a Halloween item, but, then I kept reading about all the Christmas in July projects out there. So, I jumped on the bandwagon and decided to work on my Christmas quilt started last year. Last year I started the Moda Flurry Quilt. I was all excited that I got the center part all pieced together. I hung it up for photos and thought, something doesn't look right?

Zaterdag 14 september 2013. Hi, remember me? Wow, it's been a long time since I last blogged. so much has happened, there's no way to tell you about everything.
