Saturday, May 2, 2015. Telekom hotline waiting loop and Telekom technicians that may or may not come= lots of knitting. On the 23rd I *finally* got through to someone who gave me an appointment with a techncian for the 27th. During all this I finished knitting the cardigan, which I made from Dibadu Funnies Curly Silk I bought at the Backnanger Wollfest. I started this from "Seidenhase" yarn, bought at the Wollfest, too. My Crafty Corner: Various
http://mabiana.blogspot.com/2015/04/various.html
Sunday, April 19, 2015. Knitted out of left-over yarn. I'm not happy with how it looks spread out, the edge seems to voluminous and it won't lie flat, but when worn it 's ok. The edge pattern is taken from here. I've used up four skeins of sock yarn knitting " Good vibrations. Really fun to knit, however, when the colour changes come to quickly like in the yarn below it doesn't look good. So, for that yarn I changed my mind and did a variation of this pattern. My Crafty Corner: November 2014
http://mabiana.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 16, 2014. Finally finished. I am not pleased that the yarn strands turned out so different. Luckily, the different lightning due to bum and belly when wearing seem to hide it a bit. Saturday, November 1, 2014. I haven't made jewelry in a long time, but today I dug out the pliers:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). DO NOT USE MY PHOTOS WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! View my complete profile. My Crafty Corner: January 2015

Sunday, January 4, 2015. Fluffy coat of moss. Another yarn that has been in my stash for a very long time. I had for some time considered making a skirt and a cardigan out of it, but have been convinced that that would be way too much combined fluffiness around my hips. So, a fluffy coat it became. ;-). Here's a close-up.. I've closed it with a brooch here, but I'll probably mostly wear it open, because it is very, very warm (and also, a bit scratchy). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My Crafty Corner: More scrap yarn projects
http://mabiana.blogspot.com/2015/03/more-scrap-yarn-projects.html
Sunday, March 15, 2015. More scrap yarn projects. I have shawls and scarfs in all colours of the rainbow, but noticed I almost exclusively wore a black one all winter, since I was too in a hurry in the morning to find a coloured one going with the rest. Since my coat is also black, that was a bit too bleak for my taste. I thought maybe a black and white one out of scrap yarn would be an alternative, though I have to say it is a bit busy. Pattern, yet again, wingspan. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

::The Joy of Life::: Billy...finally!!!
http://jinnieslittleworld.blogspot.com/2009/09/billyfinally.html
Thursday, September 10, 2009. Have you seen my living room before? We have been living in this house for almost 3 years now. D, every year it looks different and I keep changing things all the tim. Wanna see how it looked from the start? I used to paint our living room wall brown! That I told how I customized the old dining chairs I bought from the online shop? I also repainted the old wooden table. That once we used in a study. Put them all together in the living room, now we have a new dining set!

::The Joy of Life::: The first sewing project : a sofa slipcover
http://jinnieslittleworld.blogspot.com/2009/03/first-sewing-project-sofa-slipcover.html
Friday, March 27, 2009. The first sewing project : a sofa slipcover. Last week I was busy with making slipcover for my couch and believe it or not, I quite enjoyed it. I didn't even touch my computer for the whole week. Didn't know before that sewing could be this fun :-D. I got inspired to make such slipcover from this book ". At Home With White. OK, Let's come and see how I made it. Before sewing the whole thing, you should turn it inside out and try covering it onto the couch again to see if it fits o...

My Crafty Corner: June 2014
http://mabiana.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 22, 2014. I imitated the sweater Cody from the tv series Riptide wears often in the first season; however, since I don’t really wear sweaters in summer and this pattern for me just didn’t go with warm wool, I turned it into a cardigan (it also saved me the trouble of figuring out a way to hide the point where I changed colour and the stripe would have been staggered ;-) ). I used this very helpful calculator. Monday, June 9, 2014. A stole and a cardigan. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Loft in T...
