http://quiltoholiker.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html

To quilt is human, to finish divine. Sunday, June 29, 2014. Our last day at Kolmården we walked to the Tropicarium. They have a great display of tropical animals - here are a few glimpses:. The monkeys were roaming free in the first room we entered. This tree has heaps of bite marks, and so does my backpack after a couple of them jumped me. My friend K having a little chat with one of them:. They had baby Meerkats - tooo cuuute! Hard to believe this isn't plastic:. What a face *lol*. Friday, June 27, 2014.

The Jury is Still Out: September 2013

http://thejuryisstillout.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html

Friday, September 20, 2013. Time to get back to work. My hiatus from quilting is over. Nursing school is done, NCLEX-PN taken, and I am employed. So, it's time to go back to what I love to do.quilting! Since I blogged last, we have moved to a bigger house. My quilting stuff is now in the garage with it's own workbench! I am having to share the garage with Hollywood and his guitar stuff. But I don't mind, I'm just so happy he's home. Graduated this past June with honors! The Dyl Pickle is a Weblos II cubs...

Peaceful Heart Designs: The School Hoidays are Over

http://peacefulheartdesigns.blogspot.com/2012/04/school-hoidays-are-over.html

Sunday, April 15, 2012. The School Hoidays are Over. The school holidays may have come to an end, but I haven't told you about what I got up to before they began. My Friday night girls and I took a trip down to Crib Point, on the Mornington Peninsula, to see a small country quilt show. The atmosphere was so friendly and the scones, made by the local CWA were delicious. We all bought fabric because it was so cheap. That's Robyn in the apron. That's John joining in on the conversation and Annie in orange.

Peaceful Heart Designs: Welcome to 2013

http://peacefulheartdesigns.blogspot.com/2013/01/welcome-to-2013.html

Tuesday, January 1, 2013. Happy New Year to all my Friends. Can you believe that another year has passed and it is 2013. I have decided that this is My year. My year to do the things that make Me happy. My sewing room is screaming out for a little T.L.C. (or should I say a LOT of T.L.C.). My garden is starting to come together, and I am really enjoying being out in it. Of course it is hydrangeas season, and it never fails to amaze me that I can have pink and blue blooms on the same bush. And a lovely cup...

Peaceful Heart Designs: March 2012

http://peacefulheartdesigns.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html

Saturday, March 17, 2012. Look what Ive got! OK, Ok. I know l promised to blog more, but l have a good reason why l haven't. My trusty computer died on me. May it rest in peace. How did we ever get to the stage in life where we couldn't live without one? How sad my life has become! Never fear. I have a new toy. I decided that l probably could do without an expensive laptop for awhile, so l took advantage of the pre iPad 3 sales. I'm now the proud owner of an iPad 2. Ok Now what else has been happening.

Peaceful Heart Designs: February 2012

http://peacefulheartdesigns.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html

Monday, February 6, 2012. I can't believe that it was 2010 since I last blogged. So much has happened in that time, that it is hard to know where to begin. I suppose the biggest change in our lives is that we now have 3 of our grandchildren living with us permanently. Jordan,8 years old, and 4 year old twins, Tahlia and Ebony-Rose, moved in last March. It's been a hard slog having to raise little ones again, especially with all the trauma that they had been through. Until then, stay happy. The House on t...

Peaceful Heart Designs: January 2010

http://peacefulheartdesigns.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html

Friday, January 22, 2010. Welcome to my first posting. Well I have finally done it. I have succumbed to pressure and started my own blog. As this is going to be a real learning curve for me, I hope that you will all join me in this journey of discovery and have a bit of fun along the way. This is something that Dee was always going to teach me to do, so as I don't have her to help, I guess that I will just have to get my poor husband to help me muddle my way through. Peaceful Heart Designs: November 2010

http://peacefulheartdesigns.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html

Tuesday, November 2, 2010. It's Melbourne Cup Day! It's Cup Day and the rain has not stopped. So much for spending the long week-end in the garden. My darling husband has turned over my veggie garden for me, (despite the fact that he is dying with a head cold) so at least when the rain stops for 5 minutes, I will be able to start planting. It would have been just prefect if the weather had stayed like it was earlier in the week. It was true Spring weather. The rhododendrons are starting to bloom. Well th...

http://peacefulheartdesigns.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

Sunday, August 15, 2010. Yes, I am still alive. I know it has been for ever since I last posted. I really don't have a GOOD excuse. Let's just say that I have been a weee bit busy (and I'm slack.). Well what has been happening in my world of late. Ann-Maree and I have been busy designing projects for our retreat in October. As a matter of fact, she has presented me with another project only yesterday. I think that I might post some sneak peeks at the end of the week. What do you think? They had a great t...

Quilt Ohana

Sunday, March 26, 2017. This quilt was made in a workshop. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the instructor. This was given to baby Audrey Johnson who is 6 months old and already standing. I was able to use some Kaffe Fassett polka dot fat quarters and strips of 2.5 inch fabrics. The setting has a black and white thread fabric. The outer border is leftover strips of fabric sewn together. This is a baby quilt that I gave to Kai'alohi Jolie Alohamaikalani Hollinger Arai born on April 28, 2016.

quiltologie – all things quilting and sewing

All things quilting and sewing. I promise I’m still here-and will definitely be getting back to this blog. The older I get, the worse my time management gets, and I get thrown off. While I get back into the swing of things, below is a picture (though not great) of my Rifle Paper Co. quilt that I had previewed last year. The. Tami Bradley of Enchanted Desert Quilter did the quilting for me and I love it! What have you all been working on? Guest Blogger: Meet Patti! There are only so many puckered darts an...

Quilt - O - Matic

Quilt - O - Matic. Wednesday, 27 March 2013. Today Arthur and I made a dozen Easter cards. They were simple, they involved paint (his favourite) and glue (another favourite) and overall, were very pleasing to make. I took inspiration from this lovely post over at a Thrifty mum. With something for all ages and abilities on the younger scale of crafters. Here is Arthur working hard (we also made cotton wool sheep cards for a bit of variation while the chicks were drying) and one of his finished cards.
