Wandering Around the Block. An exploration of walks, hikes and other experiences. After the July 4. Weekend, the Coastal Mountain Land Trust was hosting a Fern Walk at the Head of Tide Preserve in Belfast. Since my fern identification skills are at the level where I can say, Yup, that’s a fern , I really wanted to attend this walk. Unfortunately, I had already booked other appointments that day. Consequently, my husband and I decided to explore the area on our own. Trails opened to the public in 2011.

Name Help
http://karensquilting.com/blog/2015/08/name-help
My “blog” related to quilts and other things that interest me. August 6, 2015. LeMoyne Stars - Star Garden. Ok, so many of you have told me that I need to come up with a name for my Lemoyne Star. Dear Jane quilt Insanity. Is the first quilt that I actually gave a name to. Most of the previous quilts I believe I just named the name of the quilt block or pattern that it had been given. Do you name your quilts? I cut a lot of strips from the jelly roll yesterday for the blocks and a lot more left to go!

There's A Thread. A lifestyle and craft blog. WIP Wednesday: I hate piecing edition. I have a confession to make: I don’t like piecing all that much. I’ve been thinking a lot lately about focusing on what I do well and what I enjoy. Stacey had a great post recently over at The Tilted Quilt. So, here’s my first foray into this style of quilt. Sometimes it m...

Wandering Around the Block. An exploration of walks, hikes and other experiences. By July, the lush. We did not see a single one. There was a...
