A quilt-a-long/block of the month for my quilting friends. Friday, May 22, 2015. In all fairness, I found this block in Keepsake Quilting's. Recent catalog. I have no idea how they make it, but I thought it would be a fun block to try with a group. So I drew it up my way. I think it will be adorable done with scraps. Measures 59 x 71 as described. Is made of 20, 12" finished blocks arranged in a 4 x 5 grid. Inner border measures 1 1/2" finished. Outer border measures 4" finished. 2, 4" x 4" squares (HSTs).

A quilt blog by a non-traditional quilter in Chicago. Thursday, February 21, 2013. Leo baby quilt finished. I finally finished this quilt! I wasn't able to make it to the store to get more thread. I was cleaning up all my notions and so forth when I found some thread that was the exact same color. Score! So I was able to finish quilting and add the binding.
