Wednesday, January 26, 2011. December 2010 and January 2011. Well obviously my goal of getting up at least 2 blogs a month didn't happen from November - but here's to trying again. :). Our family had an awesome Christmas and New Years. We were very busy, but didn't have any less fun because of it. We had 4 Christmas' this year between different families houses so many of the pictures are from those celebrations. A special treat we don't always get on Christmas was SNOW in Seattle! Monday, April 19, 2010. Here's Kai with Sadiyah, Martay and Robert. Quincy is one of Kai and Kolbie's friend. We watched Quincy when he was a baby, and he and Kai have a special little bond. They love to wrestle and run around with eachother. The wind was blowing but we got the cake lit and blown out all at the same time. It was great timing. Here are a few pics of the show. :). That is a real man narrating in the left hand corner. Just to give you perspective on how actually big the dinosaurs were.

Monday, June 21, 2010. Day Trip to Bonneville Dam. On June 12, 2010 mom and dad came up from Salem and we took the kids to Bonneville Dam. It was free fishing day for kids under the age of 12 and the event was held by the Department of Fish and Wildlife, which is dad's stomping grounds. He knew MANY of the people volunteering to help at the event. When you walked around you could see the channels in which the fish had to go through to get through to the river. Saturday, May 1, 2010. She has her spurts of energy and play time, but is still a puppy at only 8 wks, so she is tired out soon. She has provided a great play mate and disctraction for Abbie, who at times I don't think she really knows what to think of her. Having just been weened from her mama, she has tried to feed on Abbie a couple of times, but that quickly ended as Abbie stood to the ground, letting her fall to the floor hard. Friday, July 30, 2010. San Juan Ranch Horse Sale. The annual San Juan Ranch Horse Sale was held this July. I don't often get to attend, but I was able to attend this year. The day before the sale, local cowboys compete in a roping competition. I don't know enough about loops and heading/heeling and horsemanship to really get into the roping competition, but I really love to watch my cowboys. It also started to downpour for a while . . .thank goodness Jensen had his slicker! Here are some other pics.

Tuesday, November 9, 2010. One, two, BUCKLE my shoe. SO Some amazing ladies in the county put together a local gymkhana for the rodeo game enthusiastics around the county. For those of you who are wondering, the definition of gymkhana is: a meet at which riders and horses display a range of skills and aptitudes. BJ and the kids all participated. Sunday, October 17, 2010. About a month ago, Preston got a call from a friend who works with the county tourism board. There was a company coming to shoot a commercial and needed 50 head of horses. She directed the company to JM Grover Enterprises, saying that we were probably the only people around who could round up that many horses. I am pretty sure Preston didn't get any sleep, because they started loading horses at 3:30. I think we pulled out of town at 4:30 to make the drive to Monument Valley.

Friday, November 18, 2011. We were all at Grandma LouAnns. Brittany wanted to start a sewing project so they were sorting through some material. Jensen found a piece of plaid material that he liked. He thought he would make a vest out of it. It was just a square piece of fabric, but he knew if he just cut some holes for his arms, it would make a great vest. He didn't measure or anything, just started cutting. He didn't like it at ALL! Watch out project RUNWAY! Heaven knows I couldn't help them! D and V B...
