The continuing adventures of the Simmerson family in NZ. Tuesday, 18 May 2010. Sunday, 16 May 2010. Happy 4th Birthday Ben! Wow - hard to believe that Ben turned 4 this week. He was 18 months old when we arrived in NZ, now he is a real kiwi boy, attending kindy. And just a year until school! Both boys are adept at the lingo now. They eat lollies (sweets), wear undies and pants, have swimming togs and gum boots, and they love awesome rugby heaps! Ben has had a great birthday - he celebrated at kindy.

Here are a few pictures of some of the things we have been up to recently. Sheep Boy and his sidekick. Ben and Olive at Sumner Beach. India, Ash and Joe at Sumner Beach.

The continuing adventures of the Simmerson family in NZ. Monday, 30 August 2010. Happy 7th Birthday Joe! He really is growing up fast! Literally sprouting and growing out of clothes at a rate of knots (well usually wearing them out). We've been counting down the days and nights for some time now so the excitement was palpable! 7 boys loaded into our truck and we headed out to 'Tanks for Everything'. As the pictures show we all had a great time! Primed and ready for action. Just call me Commander Joe.

Simmersons NZ: February 2010
http://simmersonsnz.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
The continuing adventures of the Simmerson family in NZ. Thursday, 25 February 2010. 2 weeks ago Joe had his bright green (now very dirty) cast removed. The nurse explained what was going to happen and as she started cutting Joe erupted into giggles that didn't stop until it was over - apparently it tickles! The staff were amazed as usually kids cry? Today we returned for another appointment. Again the giggles! Afterwards he told me it made him feel 'weird' and hie eyes went blurry, but he liked it!
