A Warhammer Ancients Blog. June 7, 2009. First Unit Almost Done. Posted by Michael Porter under Uncategorized. Made some progress on my first unit of Perry Crusaders after taking time off for finals and term papers. I’ve noticed a few things I have forgotten to do-little mistakes here and there, such as some bosses need to be fixed, but mostly minor stuff. The unit as it stands now, 20 men strong. Wordpress is being a total pain, so I have uploaded more pictures to my Picassa album here. June 5, 2009.

A Warhammer Ancients Blog. January 27, 2009. Hitting “Reset”. Posted by Michael Porter under On the Bench. I have really dragged my heels starting my WAB project. I think this is due to the fact that I have a million ancient Greeks already painted up for DBA. One era I have wanted to game is the 1st Crusade. So I’m hitting reset and I plan on ordering some Perry Crusades figs ASAP! Perry Bros. Crusader Knights! December 21, 2008. Posted by Michael Porter under On the Bench. August 11, 2008. July 2, 2008.

A Warhammer Ancients Blog. July 2, 2008. Posted by Michael Porter under Uncategorized. Here are some shots of what I manged to work on today. Pretty much finished skin tones and that was about it. Unit standard bearer (only for looks, no game function). One of the better Old Glory sculpts. I’m trying to do the distressed look on the linen that Dave Pauwels gets on his figs, but I suck! July 2, 2008. Posted by Michael Porter under On the Bench. Almost finished. I have to work on his hand a bit.

A Shadow in the Warp: Scratch Built Goblin Chariot Part 3
http://doctor-zero.blogspot.com/2014/03/scratch-built-goblin-chariot-part-3.html
A blog about (mostly) Warhammer and Miniatures. Sunday, March 2, 2014. Scratch Built Goblin Chariot Part 3. I think I actually worked more on my chariot in the past week than normal however, most of the work is in little details and things that will make my life easier later, rather than major structural improvements. So, after pondering a while I hit upon the idea of gluing some thin plastic strip to it, to give it a smoother more layered appearance (as seen in the first pic). Much better, I think.

A blog about (mostly) Warhammer and Miniatures. Thursday, January 29, 2009. Working Image of the 6th squad. Well, the name of my blog appears to be fairly accurate. Not sure why the picture in the last post won't show you the full-sized image, but here it is again uploaded through Picasa. This works. Links to this post. Home Made Light Box. I ran across this article. That describes how to make a homebrew lightbox. And it's awesome. What is a lightbox? This is the result:. All in all it only cost me about...
