Being accountable for students’ Internet use. The question of whether or not to allow students and teachers access to the web-based tools and content that would be appropriate for instruction comes down to how we filter and restrict multiple Internet sites, and what effect that has on learning and teaching. We ought to be cautious as to what is determined necessary to block since we may be inhibiting students’ education by blocking legitimate sites.
