Rachel in Kenya: Reflections on my Journey. Lives that I get to be a big. Part of every day. From the little preschooler who attacks me with his hugs around my legs every morning, to my 5th grader who has grown so much that she now has enough confidence to stand in front of the entire elementary and lead her class in a dance performance, I am amazed at the opportunity God has given me to be a small part of the lives of the future world changers. Also, I would LOVE. Proudly powered by Weebly.

Rachel in Kenya: Reflections on my Journey. On School, Superman, and Ebola. Well, year two is off to a great start! Thank you for your continued prayers and support. Without a great support system of friends and family, I know that my time here would not be so beneficial and fruitful. So, really, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! Bodies of those infected. Hearts of those affected. I am a 26 year old teacher, living and learning in Kenya. Proudly powered by Weebly.

Match Report: Shamrock Bowl 2015. August 12, 2015. August 12, 2015. By Rachel In Ireland. It’s that time of year again. Shamrock Bowl time. The American Football season has reached its end and I drove down to Dublin to see it all unfold. Here he is running of the field last Sunday. Enough giving out about the stadium… the game! In a sentence, it was a sunnier repeat of last year. The Trojans faced off against Trinity College Dublin (again) and defeated them (again) – much to TCD’s disappointm...The final...

Words on experience and life design. Designing for a Sustainable World. A delayed post on the line-up of interesting speakers I heard at World Usability Day, the theme of which focused on the intersection between sustainability and usability. VerTerra, Michael Dwork's company, creates disposable plates out of dead palm leaves. In addition to being durable, beautiful and compostable, I was struck by the dependency of their creation- they can only. The answer, in short: it can be used to persuade, inspire ...

To Kennewick with love. Wednesday, October 1, 2014. I am glad you all aren't expecting too much out of me this week. It has been an interesting week to say the least, but the work continues to move forward. I can't believe it is already that time. AHHH! I could sit here and write something super inspirational about what i have learned being a missionary, but i can't even put it into words. I love it. Everything. The hard times the good times and everything in between. Just to share a short experience:.

We couldn’t have gotten everything done without her help. 8221; which in toddler language means: Where are the trains? Can I play with the trains? Since that...
