Tuesday, July 5, 2011. Happy 2nd Birthday, my sweet boy! On June 16th, my son celebrated his 2nd birthday. When we found out that I was pregnant with a boy, we were very unsure about our feelings about that. We were so used to having girls. We knew girls. And we so loved them. So to throw a boy in the middle of all that was uncharted territory for us. And playing in the potty is one of his favorite things to do! Dirt is his best friend and he will do things that totally gross me out! Happy Birthday, Cole!

Tuesday, June 22, 2010. Happy 1st Birthday, Little Man. I can't believe that Cole is a year old already! And he's got them wrapped around his little finger. They would do anything for them. Sunday, December 20, 2009. We also had another awesome "miracle" in our home this year. The birth of our very first son! I learned much in that time. Had some great conversations with God while we were trying for our fourth child. And it all came down to me just saying, "I can't do it anymore. I give it all to You". Friday, May 14, 2010. We've had a beautiful spring so far this year. Some super warm days (which I love), some downright cold days, rainy days, misty days and some good old-fashioned spring days. Here are a few pictures that were taken back in the beginning of April. The girls were loving playing outside that day! Maggie, Lily and Emma. Look at all those knobby knees! Cole figured out one day how to climb into his little toy box. He thought it was GREAT fun! Cole ate everything in sight! I LOVE my job!

Wednesday, December 29, 2010. We decided to follow the GPS instead of taking the last route that we took this past summer. We never follow the GPS without anything else, but forgot to print off the directions before we left. The GPS took us through St. Louis (which was beautiful, by the way - the arch was AMAZING! But just south of St. Louis, it started to snow and it was snowing hard! I had just closed my eyes and heard, "Oh no! I couldn't believe that they did that! God definitely protected us!
