Saturday, January 25, 2014. Small, But Very Important. One of the most overlooked items in model railroading is also the most important: couplers. Everybody knows that couplers are what keep the train together. They form a link between different cars, and then they link together with the locomotive(s). The couplers are also where all of the stress and mass is carried, so there is great importance in keeping trains within a manageable length to keep couplers from breaking. A Piece of History.
