MY BIO PAGE AND AFFILIATIONS. How CTA car 28 was saved and wound up in Appleton Wisconsin. CTA car 28 at Howard St in 1968. Update: 2005 car 28 has been repainted into 1959 colors at the East Troy Museum and has been used on a three car 5-50 series train paired up with cars 45 and 35. CAR 28 IN APPLETON READY TO GO TO EAST TROY.

The Illinois Railway Museum in 1966. Behind car 415 is the entire collection of the museum. All were invited to walk down the tracks to see the equipment. The white fenced platform has since been torn down, but a new little platform can be seen halfway down the present day railway that shares a resemblance to the original.
