JR東日本は従来型のホームドアより軽量・低コスト・大開口を目指し開発したホームドア「スマートホームドア」が、町田駅にて2016年12月17日より稼働開始しました。今回は写真と動画で稼働の様子をお伝えします。 JRでも山手線などでホームドアが稼働を開始していますが、現在稼働しているタイプドアの開く幅も限られているため、様々な編成に対応するのが難しい状況です。更に重量も重いためホームの補強などで、工事コストが大きくなってしまいます。その状況を打破するため、JRに限らず様々な会社が改良を行っています。 JR東日本では他社製の軽量・安価・大開口をコンセプトとしてホームドアを、2015年に拝島駅に導入しています。そして、今回導入されたのはJR東日本の関連会社であるJRメカトロニクスが開発したものとなっています。 最初の写真と上の写真をみて頂くと分かると思いますが、基本的な構造は従来型のホームドアと同じです。その上でドア部が鉄製の棒になり、支柱部も簡素なものとすることで軽量化を図っています。 場所: 日本, 〒194-0013 東京都町田市原町田1丁目1−36 JR 町田駅. 車内はかなり意欲的な設計となっています...
