Adopting Joanna from China. Monday, May 26, 2008. Thursday, May 29th (. Fly from SFO to China (12-13 hour flight). Friday, May 30 th. Arrive in Beijing, China. Saturday, May 31st. Sunday, June 1st. Meet up with the rest of our group from Holt (our adoption agency). Monday, June 2 nd. 2 hour flight- we get in at 12:45 PM). PICK UP JOANNA at 3:30 PM! Tuesday, June 3rd to Wednesday, June 4 th. Do adoption paperwork and play with Joanna. Hopefully we'll do some shopping in Hefei. And buy cool souvenirs.

Adopting Joanna from China. Monday, May 26, 2008. Currently Joanna is living with a foster family in Hefei, China. (This is where we will meet her for the first time.). We've been told by our adoption agency that Joanna is extroverted, has a ready smile, and loves to play. She is also quite active and energetic. Friday, July 03, 2009. I got new hairs today alla vidal sassoon hair salon on newberry street (a great deal and an awesome cut/color). Here's a pic. because JR asked for it. In other news: recently i have been trying my hand at more formal photography. i did an engagement shoot all over harvard square for miss lissa and odoi and a newborn shoot at home for my dogu and cass friends. it was super fun. here is a little taste of my faves. Tuesday, September 08, 2009. My baby's doing signs y'all. Here they are in order of acquisition:. Hello: waving like a royal - hand up, wrist a turnin' {just started to say HI}. Goodbye: same as hello only with scrunched up nose and laughing eyes. Fish: make a pa-pa sound {this is the most consistent sign} taught by grandma in hawaii - used for actual fish and goldfish crackers. Took some pictures at the wedding i was at this past week. i had the honor of doing the bride's hair and getting to run around with the bridesmaids for a few days before. i love these people so much i can't even stand it. so much that i took five days leave from my preciousness. here are a few pics of the happy couple. taking. Em has a wicked cold. ugh. so much liquid nastiness leaving it's crusty filth on my baby. the quantity of which demands i call her snotface - which reminds me of drop-dead-fred and that makes me giggle a little. Thankfully, it's finally. Petering out. though, it has left her with the cutest and most severe sneeze.
