http://homeschoolinginasmalltown.blogspot.com/2011/11/to-share-little-providence-with-you.html
Homeschooling in a Small Town. Tuesday, November 1, 2011. To share a little Providence with you. In case you were wondering what challenging Providence looks like. And the grand finale.all over saying pants. We stopped shortly after that. We weren't getting anywhere and I had to throw the towel in her poke my eye out. In her defense, when Wild Kratts was on the line, she hopped to and finished in record time. That's what happens when we expect kids to work after a fun night Halloweening!

Ramblings of an Undercover TCK: Do You Have a Pack?
http://ramblingsofanundercovertck.blogspot.com/2014/11/do-you-have-pack.html
Sunday, November 16, 2014. Do You Have a Pack? On my way into town, there is a call center. It is a bleak, low building set deep in a parking lot, sandwiched between the Public Defender's office and a Dollar General. The cars in the parking lot always huddle close to the building, so that the call center's sign stands alone, far out next to the road. And then. One morning like all the rest I was driving into town, and I looked for him and I found him, but he was not alone! This is a connectedness, I thin...

Ramblings of an Undercover TCK: August 2014
http://ramblingsofanundercovertck.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 17, 2014. About a year ago I lost my footing. It felt like a slow accumulation of Things on my to-do list, but they eventually became so great, that I lost my balance and fell into them. I have been drowning until about a month ago. What happened, you ask? A (no longer cold nor broken) Hallelujah. I don't know if my endurance has deepened, or if he's just an easier kid than she was. Whatever the reason, I'm not complaining.). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). This Week's Top 3. Warning before yo...

Ramblings of an Undercover TCK: June 2015
http://ramblingsofanundercovertck.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 26, 2015. I Don't Know Why You Say Goodbye, When I Say Hello. I write about transition a lot. Probably because my entire life has basically been a series of hello, goodbyes. A therapist friend of mine, who is also an MK (she wrote a fabulous book, you should check it out. Once told me, after I had called her sobbing on the phone, "Transitions will be a trigger your entire life.". But maybe I should back up. Get a glass of water? Plug in my phone? But maybe I should back up. I'm here," he said.

Quilted Feathers: What once was
http://quiltedfeathers.blogspot.com/2013/05/what-once-was.html
A Patchwork of Days. Thursday, May 23, 2013. Two things have brought this freedom phase and processing on. This internal nesting if you will. Before I begin. This is a clearing and preparing of my own heart. If it pains you to read it and see the truth of our season I humbly say I'm sorry if it hurts. I have come to my blog numerous times wanting to air my laundry to set myself free and had yet to find the words or the soft heart to do so. Forgiveness today begins with myself. Yep. Lots of it....I wis...

Homeschooling in a Small Town: Making the moon!
http://homeschoolinginasmalltown.blogspot.com/2012/02/making-moon.html
Homeschooling in a Small Town. Thursday, February 16, 2012. We are learning about the moon and I decided nothing can be more motivating than staring at a plate of oreos! We have been reading the Faces of the Moon. I wish I had known about this book when teaching 5th and 8th graders science. Look at that smile. It's shocking! We talked about why we aren't able to see the moon during the new moon phase and why we see the full moon. I know the pictures aren't in proportion, but we talked about that, too.

Homeschooling in a Small Town: And when I'm ready to poke a pencil through my eye, she gives me a ray of sunshine.
http://homeschoolinginasmalltown.blogspot.com/2011/10/and-when-im-ready-to-poke-pencil.html
Homeschooling in a Small Town. Friday, October 21, 2011. And when I'm ready to poke a pencil through my eye, she gives me a ray of sunshine. First, she cut and sorted these words all by herself. I only had to ask her once. And clouds parted and angels started singing! Then we went through the words. Usually she just stares blankly at me when we do this. Or she asks repeatedly when she will be done. But, this time. Me: These words have the og sound at the end. O-G says og. The first one is. I am the mothe...

http://quiltedfeathers.blogspot.com/2011/04/me-and-weight.html
A Patchwork of Days. Thursday, April 21, 2011. Look at that skinny booty! Update, Jan 2012. I've been at this weight loss deal for over 10 months and am down a wild and crazy 64lbs and think I'm done! And I am thinking I will return to being a vegetarian! The wee red dress that was kind of a little goal of mine is now too loose to wear! Hahahaha, maybe I'll have to gain a few lbs to have it fit like it did on our wedding day! I am 6' 1" with, what Josh callsfierce curves or as some just call it thick!

The first month of my charting fertility differently we found ourselves just staring at that positive pregnancy test. like WHAT HAVE WE DONE? That afternoon we called a family dinner together.
