Thursday, February 18, 2010. First of all I have to say "Happy Valentines Day" - a couple days late! We finally got a break from school for Carnivale ( a three day weekend - big break! So pretty much I did absolutely nothing productive for the first part, but then of course, I started to feel bad about not doing anything so I had to do something! And my idea of something to do all started after watching Julie and Julia! Ingredients for french baguette! Mixing 'em all up! Toasting bread for bruschetta!

Chatsworth House has a wonderful cascade in the gardens. The original cascade was designed by Monsieur Grillet a French hydraulics engineer with experience in decorative waterworks for Louis XIV of France. It took two years to build and was completed in 1696. The Cascade House was built at its summit to designs by Thomas Archer.

May 11, 2015. The blog has been quiet of late. I wish it was because the Black Dog hasn’t been around, sadly I feel he is always here. I wonder if I should give him a name? Anyway – I have news! I have booked an appointment with a local hypnotherapist for next week (eeek) and I have signed up for an online Diploma in Mindfulness to see if I can make a start to getting my head in a good place.
