Keepin' It Real: The Road
http://tiltonfamily.blogspot.com/2014/04/the-road.html
Sunday, April 20, 2014. A few nights ago the social media circle I’m in was a buzz with excitement as many of us lay in wait for the first glimpse of a much anticipated baby boy. News had trickled down that his arrival had finally occurred but we waited for official confirmation from his parents. I must say, it was akin to Christmas. The baby is but what. The road is not something that can ever be adequately described or captured even by the best of historians or photographers. The most magnificent v...

Keepin' It Real: Flying the "Friendly" Skies
http://tiltonfamily.blogspot.com/2014/06/flying-friendly-skies.html
Wednesday, June 04, 2014. Flying the "Friendly" Skies. This spring I ended up doing a lot of traveling to the west. Two of the trips were planned and the third was not. It gave me a lot of time in airports and on airplanes that I haven't had in quite sometime. The following are my "Top 10" bits of wisdom after all of those adventures. 2 If you are looking for a group of people who seem to hate humanity, fly US Airways. I haven't met a more collectively disgruntled group in quite awhile. 4 I find the fact...

Keepin' It Real: Slow and Steady
http://tiltonfamily.blogspot.com/2014/07/slow-and-steady.html
Tuesday, July 08, 2014. Our financial planner has been around for quite awhile and is good at what he does. Since he is also my parents’ financial planner he knows the tendencies of skepticism I have inherited from my father. The mere fact that my dad trusts him gives me good reason to trust him as well, even when I get a bit overwhelmed. These last few weeks. Tuesday, July 08, 2014. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Hoop-De-Doo & Falderal: February 2011
http://itzsandra.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 9, 2011. She was thrilled and kept saying that it was the "best day of her life." Yay for best days! She also really wanted a motor scooter. She's been wanting this for about a year now. It just doesn't seem to ever happen. Maybe someday. Other than that though she was able to get everything she wanted. Happy Birthday, Beautiful Lauren! First I cooked it, then blended it, then poured into ice cube trays. Does this really work? I want to know. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Girl in a Swirl.

Hoop-De-Doo & Falderal: A Day At the Museum
http://itzsandra.blogspot.com/2011/08/day-at-museum.html
Tuesday, August 9, 2011. A Day At the Museum. This is one of the coolest places in our city. It's an old (10 story? We went with our new friend, Bella. She is the niece of a co-worker of Richard's. She spent a few days hanging out with us this summer because her aunt thought it would be more fun to play with us than sit at the office while she worked all day. She was right. We had fun with her. Hoop-De-Doo & Falderal: Family Reunion
http://itzsandra.blogspot.com/2011/10/family-reunion.html
Saturday, October 8, 2011. Right after school started I got to fly to Utah to have a luau with my family. It was so fun to see everyone. It's never quite enough. I wish I could have brought the kids, but they hate missing school and it just didn't seem worth it for just a couple of days. But it was a nice and relaxing time for me. Thank you JH for putting it all together. For a better description of the fun read here. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). 5 Boys and 1 Mom. Makin' it Through the Day.

Keepin' It Real: March 2014
http://tiltonfamily.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 10, 2014. Thin Mints and "The Candy Man". Last week I stood on the threshold of my front entry and handed a cute little girl from my church a check for $32 in exchange for 8 boxes of Girl Scout cookies. I don’t really need the cookies and I think anyone with any sense knows that their price is outrageous for the amount of cookies you get. So why do I buy them? From the time I was about 2 years old until towards the end of my 3. Around the time I was in 2. Grade my mom signed me up for Brown...
