Sifteo Game Jams
http://www.randomoutputdesign.com/work/03-5-SifteoGameJams.html
I ran or helped organize Sifteo jams with:. Santa Cruz State University. The NYU/Poly Games Innovation Lab. Global Game Jam 2012. Input is a fundamental part of the gaming experience, and we live in exciting times. Every week, it seems there’s a cool new natural interface startup or Kickstarter, and our choices about interaction aesthetics now begin with the crucial choice of input hardware. Jumping Head-First Into Motion Control Design. Introduction to Motion Control.
B!eepbrella
http://www.randomoutputdesign.com/experiments/04-Bleepbrella.html
Eepbrella was created at the Sifteo Febuary Game Jam. Chris Osborn. Made the great Sifteo game B! Eep, where players have to hit cubes when they flash their color. It plays a lot like crazy whack-a-mole. During the jam we hung the cubes from an umbrella and created the B! Eepbrella. An umbrella holder walks about with the umbrella while the game churns and revolves around them. We debuted the B! Eepbrella at GDC 2013. Jumping Head-First Into Motion Control Design. Introduction to Motion Control.
Sifteo Developer Guide
http://www.randomoutputdesign.com/work/04-sifteodevguide.html
Along with Scott Kim, I designed and wrote the Sifteo Developer Guide. The Developer Guide was a print panphlet we gave out at GDC 2013 along with other conferences and events and acted as a quick start resource for new developers interested in working with Sifteo Cubes. Jumping Head-First Into Motion Control Design. Anyone who has used a poorly designed motion control interface can tell you that simply using the motions of the body to control software does not produce an intuitive or natural experience.
Friendnet

Random Outlaw
A blog about the randomness of life. and I am an outlaw. A Hefty Dose Of Stupid. On A Hefty Dose Of Stupid. On A Hefty Dose Of Stupid. Garage Doors Santa Barbara. On El Scorcho (Ay, Carumba! Monday, April 28, 2008. I swear, after all I've been through in the last 3 years, I have not had two weeks as bad as these last two have been. First on the parade of miseries: I am STILL sick. This is highly unusual. I even went to the doctor! The curriculum has been almost totally abandoned! The new teacher did not ...

My Process: Developing solutions to hard problems. 1 Establish the Problem. 2: Understand the Audience. Few project are simply "design driven". A number of stakeholders will have requirements or requests for a project. Some will often be mutually exclusive. I work to understand those requirements; balance them against the design and each other; communicate limitations and tradeoffs; and find the optimal solution for the product. 4 Design and Visioning. Random Sanity | Cienie Szaleństwa
Strzelankowa bonanza: Satazius, KAMUI, RefleX, R-Type. Oto one! Czytaj dalej →. 2014: co za rok! Czytaj dalej →. Age of Wonders III.
