Why you may get fat when you don’t eat enough. When you stop regularly consuming a suitable amount of calories, you body begins to run low on energy and decides it’s necessary to stock pile energy. It does this by turning every calorie into fat. A few slices of bread then become about as fattening as a mcdonalds. Didn’t think so. October 14, 2015.
