A Room for Reading and Sharing. 九月十月上錦敦的敘事治療工作坊，於是，我又重新看見故事中的隱喻。 這本有趣的英文繪本。不管媽媽怎麼教他，小狗George都無法發出一隻「正常」的狗應該發出的叫聲。他不是叫喵喵，就是叫哞哞。媽媽帶他去看醫生，醫生把手伸進小狗體內，一一抓出小貓等等動物。原來是這些動物在George體內，讓他變得「不正常」。 我問孩子，他們覺得一隻會學其他動物叫的狗比較有趣，或是一隻只會汪汪叫的狗有趣。他們說前者，但若要擇一作為寵物，他們會選後者。 12300;你覺得你的身體裡，住著什麼呢？」Corrine說，她的身體裡住著CD player，於是她口中老是在哼歌。緊張的時候會哼歌讓自己放鬆，可是也會影響她作功課的專注。快樂的時候也會哼歌。Cindy說，她身體裡住著一隻鳥，這讓她老是在說話。同時，她也想像鳥一樣自由飛翔。 孩子們畫圖，然後，用英文寫下這些敘述。他們享受用英文談論自己是誰，而我也享受這個過程。 到隱喻， 在回到自己的內外在生活。 頭痛。 無明確的興趣，喜歡睡覺和玩。生活和課業都很依賴'旁人'的陪伴. A Room for Reading and Sharing. 恐龍男孩來噗噗角落兩個月了。他現年七歲。幼稚園時，曾經在三家補習班學過美語。其中一間是佳音英語。根據他家人描述，佳音英語的課業考試把孩子嚇壞了，大人意識到情況不對便停掉英文課。近一年時間，他沒上任何英文課。又一個從佳音英語逃出來的孩子，我心中如此想。我向來自嘲，自己是從佳音逃出來的老師。大學時兼職美語教師，曾經是無奈的學習迫害者（與被剝削的廉價勞工），於是很能體會被害者（學生）的心情。 都不願意說，但願意唸出他認識的字母。我說英文繪本，我們用中文聊天，遇到關鍵字我就用英文穿插在閒談間，讓他至少能聽熟這些單字。恐龍男孩很愛恐龍和鯨魚。每次上課，他都會帶兩三隻玩偶來。他沒有替玩偶取名字，他直呼動物名，他們也沒有擬人的個性。但是他很愛他們，每天抱著入睡。 故事接近尾聲，有個畫面是：時間之鳥穿越恐龍的身體飛回現代，恐龍的肉身逐漸變成骨架。聽故事的恐龍男孩看著圖，突然大聲呼叫，「. 對！對！就是這樣沒錯。 12301;我請他多說一些。「. 12301;他真的紅了雙眼，淚汪汪的說著。很入戲，也很愛恐龍的恐龍男孩...

Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Because of Winn Dixie. We finished the amazing book titled. Because of Winn Dixie. And in true Mrs. Charlton fashion we are having a Winn Dixie party like the characters in the book did. We are having egg salad sandwiches, peanut butter sandwiches, pickles, Dump Punch and Littmus Lozenges, JUST LIKE the characters in this amazing story had at their party.
