Whenever this scene would come up in conversation, it would always sounds something like "Drago had this superior, high-tech training while Rocky was training in the woods". Monday, April 21, 2008. Robert Drysdale is the absolute winner of the ADCC 2007 (the Olympics of Submission Wrestling), who won the title after submitting Marcelo Garcia in impressive fashion. He currently resides in Las Vegas, training with Randy Couture, Wanderlei Silva and many other professional MMA athletes. Tuesday, February 24, 2009. Girls classes for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights have been modified. Rather than having a general training plan for each day, each session will have a particular training emphasis for each session. Sessions will last for 45mins, and cost $10/head. There is a maximum of 6 spots per class, and payment is up-front for the month. Tuesday (6:15-7:00): Boxing and 'Self-Defense' Class. Wednesday (6:15-7:00): Cardio and Core (High Intensity). Saturday, January 31, 2009. REAL TRAINING is moving from blogspot to .com.au. A domain has been purchased ( www.real-training.com.au. And hopefully by the end of this month it will be up and running smoothly. This blog will switch to cover more specific aspects of training protocols which I employ and the website will cover whats been going on in the shed, and whats going on in the future. Be sure to keep an eye out for some REAL TRAINING t-shirts on the street as all members will be sporting them soon.

Saturday, October 25, 2008. Here is the the theory behind it. Cross training is essential, but closer to an event, a shift into more specific training should be considered and employed. This entry is in regards to competitions characterized by a single competition, and not a season. Cross-training during a season is very beneficial, but more on that next time . Saturday, November 15, 2008. Now, when we are injured the kinetic chain has been interrupted, and the ability to perform functional movements has been affected accordingly. Here, you can either cease training completely, let all your trained bio-motor abilities regress until your injury recovers or attempt to train around the injury to maintain your athletic condition. What’s most important for those who choose the latter is that your traditional training means will have to be modified.
