Rebecca's Emporium: Happy Anniversary
http://rebeccasemporium.blogspot.com/2015/01/happy-anniversary.html
Saturday, 10 January 2015. Just a small post to say. A very happy anniversary to my wonderful Lewis! Warning - mushyness ahead! It has actually been a whole 5 years since we met! A snowy day in Reading, meeting at the train station, a bag of nerves. Then off to the pub to calm our nerves! Followed by a walk in the snow, a game of 'throw snowballs at the statue's bottom', and exploring the little world around us. And didn't feel the need to run away and hide after. I know it's mushy and a little love sick,.

Monday, 8 December 2014. A Year Of Being A Mum. It has been ages! I can't deny the little man has grown into an expert at absorbing all of time, but it's wonderful, so I'm not complaining! Can you believe fellow internet friends. My son is one whole year old! On the 24th November we celebrated our little boy's very first birthday. And congratulated ourselves on being parents for a whole year. It makes you step back a little bit and go "Woaw". It really does seem quite surreal. And I wouldn't have it any ...

Rebecca's Emporium: Sculpture Installation
http://rebeccasemporium.blogspot.com/p/sculpture-installation.html
The Mutilated Reality Of Innocence. Exhibiting my felted sculptures for the first time, I wanted to depict them in a scene that would truly impact the viewer, increasing a sense of unease and concern. Through exhibiting my characters through a playground theme, I related the scene with the viewer, as a universal recognition was made when first observed. I also however created a sense of reality by manipulating that common sense of innocence commonly associated with youth. Through my work I am presenting...

http://rebeccasemporium.blogspot.com/2012/08/time.html
Wednesday, 29 August 2012. Yet again, time has sped away from me, and I have no idea where it's gone, how it managed to sneak past me or what I've even accomplished during this mini whirlwind! Unfortunately my poor little blog has been put aside as the Pheeples become more and more insistent that their army needs to grow. I love felting to bits, but it does take up a lot of my world. So when I read this blog post this morning by. I felt time suddenly slow down a bit,. And it felt amazing! And then I foun...

Thursday, 1 January 2015. Happy New Year everyone! Without doubt this has most definitely been a year full of adventures! An adorable, tiny baby grew into a cheeky, still adorable, toddler. And that in itself is quite an adventure! We've had ups and downs like you all have I'm sure, and at the end of it, we all take a sip of something bubbly and contemplate how on earth we got to this point. Honestly, I've no idea! Who's got a New Years Resolution they're planning to stick to this year? Something I've fo...
