Lucid Gaming: 21 July - 20 July Napoleonic Game vs The Uncle
http://lucid-gaming.blogspot.com/2015/07/21-july-20-july-napoleonic-game-vs-uncle.html
Across the Dead Earth. Dr Who Miniatures Game. Tuesday, 21 July 2015. 21 July - 20 July Napoleonic Game vs The Uncle. As I stated I was playing a Russian force against a French force fielded by The Uncle with some German and Belgium allies. The game played well and by the end of the first turn I had the movement rules sorted and picked up the combat and morale rules within a couple of rolls. Shooting works on a D20 system with melee using a D6. Labels: A.A.R. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

My life in Wargaming the period from 1704 to 1945. Wednesday, February 25, 2015. 28MM BLACK POWDER: ACTION AT FRISCHERMONT 1815. Over the past few weeks I setup a fictional game in my garage vaguely based on the action at Plancenoit in 1815 but I moved the action north to the area of Frischermont. I used a 10ft by 6ft layout on my table. I have played it twice as the French player - first against Scott Duncan and secondly against Dave Paterson and Kevin Bowman. Here are the Player Briefings and OBs.

The figures were all beautifully painted by James Roach. Forces engaging around Chester - in distance the northern table.

Blenheim to Berlin: NAPOLEONIC WARGAMING
http://blenheimtoberlin.blogspot.com/p/napoleonic-wargaming.html
My life in Wargaming the period from 1704 to 1945. The Napoleonic era has always seemed to me to be the classic wargaming period. Britain was at war with revolutionary France and then the French Empire from 1793 to 1814 with a short intermission in 1802 of a year due to the Peace of Amiens. Then there was the encore of the 100 days campaign in 1815 including Waterloo. Who has not at least heard of the Battle of Waterloo? Eagle of the 45th captured at Waterloo by the Scots Greys. Kutuzov's conference at F...

The game was fought across a 14ft by 5ft table. This and the deployment allowed the game to be played easily by 8 players. Troop Ratings and Rule Changes. In addition I reduced to 2 the shooting dice of the Russian line infantry and did not allow their skirmishers the 1 factor for skirmishers shooting. Link to Fl...

http://southern-strategists.blogspot.com/2015/07/lion-rampant.html
Sunday, 5 July 2015. Last weeks game was a Medieval game using the Lion Rampant rules. The game involved two forces controlled by three players per side. The main commander of each side was attempting to find favour with the King by capturing the three criminals that had escaped from the dungeons of the castle dressed as monks. The fugitives were known to be hiding out amongst the buildings of the local village. 3 monks to be found. Side with the most monks at the end wins. Knights searching a house.
