Chinese Chicken Sausage Rolls. 2 spring onion, finely chopped. 1 carrot, grated. 3 tablespoons of Chinese Five Spice. 2 sheets of puff pastry, thawed. 1 egg, lightly beaten. Mix mince, onion, carrot and Five Spice together in a bowl. Divide mince into two and place along the edge of each sheet of pastry then roll. Put rolls on baking tray and brush with egg. Cook in an 180 degree oven for 20-30mins or until cooked through. Serve. Optional: sprinkle with sesame seeds after egg is brushed on.

Thanks stayathomemum.com.au. 1 cup of self-raising flour. 1/2 cup of milk. 2 tablespoon golden syrup. 1 1/2 cup of boiling water. Combine all the batter ingredients together and pour into a greased oven proof dish. Place the golden syrup, butter and boiling water on top of the batter. German Hot Potato Salad. 4 boiled eggs, quartered. 4 bacon rashers- rind less and chopped. 2 pickled gherkins (optional). 1 tablespoons chopped parsley. 2/3 (200mL) cup mayonnaise. 1/3 (80g) cup sour cream. 2 teaspoons lemon juice. Cook bacon in a frypan on a medium heat until browned and crisped. Drain excess oil and combine with eggs. Meanwhile, boil potatoes until tender. Drain and add to bacon and egg mixture. Note: this is from the Women’s Weekly’s Cook: How to Cook Absolutely Everything.
