Just the 4 of us *. Tuesday, March 19, 2013. 105 weeks of school flew by just like that! Finished ONE term of school! That was 10 and a half weeks (yes, school started half a week earlier) and boy are we glad the holidays are here! Other than complaining (a lot) about having less TV and play time, I must say that Kieran has done pretty well in this term. Thursday, December 9, 2010. I am a big snacker, but I am not particularly crazy about nuts. When I saw Giada De Laurentis do a spiced nuts recipe on TV, I thought "I like the spices, I may like this." I did. I simplified her recipe and added extra heat because that's what I like. All listed quantities are estimated. Use your gut feel and your own preference for spice. 150g of raw almonds. 150g of raw cashews. 2 tbsp of peanut oil. 1 tbsp of cumin powder. 1 tbsp of garlic powder. 1 tbsp of salt.

Just the 4 of us *. Sunday, March 23, 2014. We took a short vacation to Taipei this March holidays. It was fun because it was a new country for us and surprisingly, the boys really loved it. The most curious thing was that Kieran was so adventurous in his eating habits this trip as he tried almost all the street food that we bought! Day 1: Arrived in Taipei. Just the 4 of us *. Saturday, February 02, 2013. Kieran saw us browsing airfares online and asked if we are going anywhere. So we said "mummy and daddy are going. if you guys are good, maybe." So he went to Kiefer (who was showering and told him about it (Mummy and daddy going on holiday). After he came out, we heard Kiefer shouting from the bathroom " Kieran! I need to talk to you! Just the 4 of us *. Sunday, July 28, 2013. In whom I can trust. As part of the church's (and kindy's) outreach, the K1s had a short performance during the morning service today. They sing In whom I can trust. I love the beginning where the kiddos closed their eyes, and I really felt God's presence then. Just the 4 of us *. Thursday, November 06, 2014. Primary 1 Orientation (Kiefer). Our number two is entering the formal education system next year! We attended the Orientation programme at the school last week and well, being Kiefer, he fit right at home! Running off to class with his classmates!
