Recipe Repeats: January 2009

http://reciperepeats.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html

Monday, January 19, 2009. Finally, a recipe of my own! I have been making these enchiladas for as long as I can remember. I grew up eating them and now that I have a family of my own I love how simple they are to make. Plus, they make great leftovers. The only bad thing I can say about them is that I always end up eating way more than I should! 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 2 cans cream of chicken soup. 1 can chicken broth. 1 can diced green chilis. 12 small flour tortillas. 1/4-1/2 cup olive oil.

Recipe Repeats: December 2008

Sunday, December 28, 2008. Meatballs with cream sauce. This recipe/picture was taken from My Kitchen Cafe. Everything I have tried from this blog has been a total hit. I have a husband who generally doesn't eat leftovers, but this meal is one exception. We have made this recipe twice now, and we prefer to make our meatballs a little larger (about 15 meatballs) and cook them for longer. 1 egg, lightly beaten. 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce. 3/4 cup quick oats. 1/4 cup finely chopped onion.

Recipe Repeats: chicken parmesan

http://reciperepeats.blogspot.com/2009/01/chicken-parmesan.html

Monday, January 19, 2009. I made this recipe a couple of months ago after seeing it on my friend Emily's blog. She originally took it from the Sisters' Cafe. I'm a huge chicken parmesan fan, and this one did not disappoint. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 large onion, chopped (approximately 1 cup). 2 cloves garlic, crushed. 3 cans Italian diced tomatoes. Saute onion and garlic in olive oil until onions are tender and transparent. Add the rest of the ingredients and let simmer for 10 minutes.

Just another WordPress.com site. Lemon-Basil Italian Ice Sugar-free dessert recipe. I’ve loved Italian ice since my very first taste of it at Mario’s Italian Lemonade. Stand in Chicago’s Little Italy back in 1984. I was blown away by the combination of icey, lemony, sweet, and real peel. It’s incredibly refreshing on a hot summer day. The original recipe called for sugar, so I’ve substituted agave syrup. This recipe was adapted from Better Homes and Gardens. I have turned it into a granita. Pour through ...
