Polygamer #18: Charles Battersby on atheism & religion in games. March 25, 2015. Hosted the PAX East 2015 panel The End Boss Doesn’t Exist: Atheism in Video Games, featuring Ken Levine of Irrational Games and Chris Avellone of Obsidian Entertainment. The panel played to a packed house, such that I couldn’t get in — so I invited Charles onto. To discuss what I missed! Download the audio edition of this interview below or from iTunes. As expected, Frank knew exactly what was going on and as he offered up details, my mind started to wonder. Also gone were the trees and bushes that shaded the various portions of Wood’s Golf Center, once the Philadelphia area's only 18...

A common blog by a common man. I Don’t Care About The Main Quest. March 26, 2013. I have been a fan of Role Playing Games since Zelda. I loved being able to explore hidden lands with immersive dungeons full of monsters, but one part of an RPG that I did not like was taking on the quest that is given to me by the developers! If I want to saunter off into some unknown wood then I should be allowed. Why should I have to play the game as it was intended? Alas there is hope! Once Elder Scrolls: Morrowind.
